That's right, from Gates himself, Halo 3 will be ready next spring and he wants it to go mano a mano with the PS3.
Of course, the PS3 has no solid release date with rumors put it anywhere from April of 06 to November of 06 and beyond.
Secondly, if Halo 3 is launching "next spring", then it almost surely will have to be on hand at this year's E3 because by E3 06 it will have already been released. I guess we'll find out in a few hours.
Oh, and is it just me or does Gates look a little Borg-like in that cover picture? A shoutout to the Slashdot Microsoft GatesBorg icon perhaps?

Well... I suppose you could reuse this article, but then again - what's the point if everyone already knows? 
Good news though.
If you wanted to include HALO3 in your next article, maybe look into seeing if they have any images or news about what the game entails. -----------------------

well if you played the single player missions you kinda got the vibe that there had to be a sequal otherwise it would of been death to microsoft and all that is xbox. The ending still pisses me off -----------------------

pretty good to know. Personally I loved halo ever since I saw it and it has a pretty good story. Lots of people play the multiplayer and ignore the single player. Since I don't have XBOX live I play the single player all the time with random people. Looking forward to Halo 3. |

I think i recall hearing that their also going to be making a Halo movie... it will be interesting if they do make it. -----------------------

That would be a pretty cool movie. Lots of action probably. But maybe not everyone would follow the story well. |

I seriously hate those games man. I used to like 'em, but now the mere mention of another game just makes me think you've all be enslaved to some kind of commercially accepted bullcrap. Then again, did the second one get old incredibly fast for you guys? I mean, I only played the first one, and after a while it got old, no matter what I did with it. Then the next one was the same. I assume the same will happen with this game.
Sure, I seem dreary and carry an overall negetive message, but hopefully Halo will in fact collapse into itself and Sony will prevail. That's seriously all XBox has goin for it. Bill Gates is the man, but I hate him for it.
