Alright, I've read my emails and agree. LCRW Earthjedi01 is promoted to Senior Crewman for his work involving the Kaph Squadron website. Congrats to him.

That is, however, inaccurate. I'd decided that I'm going to add a few ranks to the existing Naval ranking structure in order to promote more stratification in the ranks while still keeping the commissioned ranks quite the ways away. The new ranking structure will probably go in either later tonight or sometime tomorrow and will look something like this:

The new ranks are Chief Petty Officer (CPO), Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO or SPO, we'll work that out) and Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO or MPO, again, we'll work it out).

If anyone would like to comment on this in order to amend it before (or really, after) it goes into effect, let me know. Additionally if there are any questions regarding this upcomming change, please ask.

Oop, I just thought of a question that I might as well anticipate. Your new rank under this system will be determined by whatever your current pay rate is. For example if you're currently a Senior Crewman (pay rate 3000 IC) you would be "promoted" to Petty Officer 2nd Class automatically, though your pay rate would remain the same.

[edit] Meh, I went ahead and made the change. If for some reason this proves to be a big giant problem, its fairly easy to reverse. Be sure to check the new roster and correct your ID line if needed.[/edit]
