Well...Vaapad (Mace's lightsaber style) flirts with channeling the Dark side. Seeing as Mace has had ample opportunity to fight, he'd likely had much more recent practice in dueling.
Everything says Palpatine was powerful; but maybe he was just an above average swordsman. I mean, he kept resorting to using Vader or other apprentices along the way to do his wetwork. -----------------------

If you're a diehard SW fans, like most of us are, I would highly recommend going alone. Leave the parents, girlfriend, little brother or other assorted friends out for once. You will find their constant enquiries irritating.
Unless you explicitly told them to shut up before the start of the movie.  -----------------------

I would have to agree with you, Hashi. To get the most out of the movie and so you don't have to answer their questions every five minutes, I would suggest leaving them home. I just went to the movie again tonight with a different group of friends and one guy talked the entire time. I feel sorry for the people who sat around us. I have learned to block out his insolent babbling. ^^ -----------------------

heh, when i enjoy a movie, it's as if the whole world around me disappears, at that time, only my brain and eyes seem to be present and working. and then everything returned normal right when the movie ends. -----------------------

i saw it with a bunch of friends who are star wars fans like me, so it was no problem. i've been asked by a girl in my class to watch it with her on monday, but i don't no if this is a good idea because i don't know how well she knows star wars.

I made a tiny story for The Force.net titled "Death to Binks" once. I never got it past, however, because it turns out the beta-readers loved Jar-Jar. I should have told them to get real, but I didn't, because I was a beta-reader at the time.
However, I would camp out to see that Episode III.V indeed. -----------------------

So did any1 get the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!' scream darthy gives when he finds out he killed Padme? He joined the dark side to save her, not to make her die in birth by the grip hold, and a glitch! In ep VI leia says to luke that she remembers her mother (Padme), but how could she when Padme dies a few seconds or a minute after she is born! Bet non of yas figured that out!

CJ, she didn't die because of the grip. She died because she gave up living after Anakin turned to the Darkside. Once the twinswere brn, she found herself without reason to live.
hence why the medical droid says "Ther's nothign medically wrong with her."
Me? I liked how they put a young Tarkin on the bridge with Vader and the Emperor..although I'm curious as to why it took them 18 years to build that Death Star, and only a few months to build almost complete second one... -----------------------

Plus factor in the time it took to actually build the Maw Installation. First time through always takes more time.
Plus, as pointed out in Clerks, they used a lot of independent contractors on the second one. -----------------------

Most people dont realize this but Palpatine wasnt in absolute control till after A NEW HOPE, the reason of the DeathStar was so there would be no more senate. Each system would have a Imperial Governor instead of a senator. When the DeathStar blows up Alderan(i know its wrong spelling), thats when he becomes the dictator and not just an Emperor.

Well, I said on a website a while back that my theory was that the plans Leia intercepted from Rebel spies might have actually been the plans for the Second Death Star, which would be identical to the first. The Rebellion probally thought that these plans were for the First Death Star which they already knew of. Then, after the Battle of Yavin, the Empire modified the Second Death Star to elimate the flaw of the First Death Star. -----------------------

Actually, the scale of DS2 is way off the original. Second, Bevel Lemelisk revamped the design prior to building the second one (and after being eaten alive by piranha beetles and being forced into a clone body; this went on about seven times in various ways). -----------------------
