Valued Customer,
We regret to inform you that due to the major set backs in the supply lines, we will no longer be able to continue with business. There is no possibility that we could ever fund the recreation of these supply lines as there were too many freighters lost in this catastrophe. We were foolish to put too much of our time and money into the funding of the supply lines which as a result, renders us useless without it running.
It also pains us to inform you that we were deeply in debt to the Imperial Vigil Enterprises. To be exact, we owed the IVE 823,452,898.23 ICs. Without the supply lines we will never be able to repay our debt to the IVE.
This huge debt has come as a surprise to even us. We were counting on our accountants to inform us of the actual financial state of the Imperial Center Store. Though they have foolishly changed the books to make it appear as though we were in a sound financial state in order to encourage our stock investors to purchase more and more of our stock. Our accountants were hoping that by influencing more people to purchase stock from us, this would drive the stock even higher in order to help lower our debt with the IVE which would allow them to pocket a nice hunk of cash.
In the past month, we have come under investigation from the Imperial High Council and were found guilty of financial fraud after this disaster has surfaced the truth into the clear. The Imperial Center Store was then shutdown before we were able to have a going out of business sale in order to maybe see if we could at least cover some of our huge debt before having to declare bankruptcy.
We would like to formally apologize for this tragedy that has fallen upon us and our financial investors. It is our shareholders that will hurt the most from this deception and we are deeply sorry for any hardship this may have caused. -----------------------

If it isn't a joke I'll be angry, I was seriously considering selling my ICS on March 30th which would have given me 75k that I could spend on the shares that are now worth 1.39. I could have made huge profits...grr! -----------------------

I know it's a little late to be saying April fools, but that too was part of the joke. 
The Imperial Center Store did not go out of business. Though, we did get attacks on the supply lines that we still need to deal with.
As far as the pay checks go, when the rosters are back to normal, the pay droid will send out the paychecks for this month. -----------------------
