I listen to Classic Rock (Cream, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Hendrix, Rolling Stones, etc.), a little bit of blues. I dont really find modern rock too appealing, save a few artists here and there. I also like Latin Jazz, and Salsa. ----------------------- *DarkDragoons*

Me, a fairly wide variety, but most of it is country. Anything from Garth Brooks to Toby Keith to Big & Rich. "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" is a heckuva song! ----------------------- XO/FL/WO1 Chipmunk Man/Kaph 9/Phoenix/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)(=SA=)[LoC][MC:1][LSM][MC:1][VC:B]

The only good country (male) singers that I think were really good were LoneStar and at one time Garth Brooks, the rest were all the same. And Led Zeppelin is the greatest band of all time, so yea... (Come to really appreciate Hendrix though, so maybe hes somewhere near the top...) ----------------------- *Flash Was Here...*

Hmm... by artist - Usher, Nelly, Aerosmith, Seal, Linkin' Park, Led Zepplin, a few Shania Twain songs, some Dido, M.J. (Thriller album). There are others, but can't think of the names off the top of my head.
Some of the old classical (Beethoven, Bach, etc.)

I listen to the Classics. My favorites being Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and I'm really starting to like U2, especially the song Sunday Bloody Sunday (I think that it is their best yet). I also like some of the Irish stuff such as the Pogues (probably haven't heard of them), as well as newfie, my favourite being Great Big Sea (again who you prolly haven't heard of unless your Canadian.)

Shania Twain?! *gags* I can sing better, and I sound like I'm strangling a cat!
Gretchen Wilson is cool. I have tickets to see her in September. And I love how Big & Rich turned the country music industry upside down. Andy Griggs has an awsome song "If Heaven" (I want that played at my funeral). And there's the new Gary Alan song "Right Where I Need to Be." Tim McGraw has some cool stuff, and Travis Tritt has some sweet songs like "Trashy Woman," "Here's a Quarter, Call Someone Who Cares," (see my sig) and cover versions of things like "Hotel California" and "Take it Easy." And of course I have to list Toby Keith's "Angry American," "Taliban Song," "Should Have Been a Cowboy," and his duet with Willie Nelson "Beer for my Horses." Oh, and Kenny Chesney is the Jimmy Buffet of country music! "Old Blue Chair," "Anthing but Mine," and "Outta Here" are perfect for the beach.
Not especially fond of Keith Urban. Lonestar has a few good songs, but they aren't my favorite either. And while I like "Bless the Broken Road," Rascal Flatts is less a country group and more a boy band. As far as I'm concerned Urban, Lonestar and Flatts are pop singers mascarading as country music. ----------------------- XO/FL/WO1 Chipmunk Man/Kaph 9/Phoenix/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)(=SA=)[LoC][MC:1][LSM][MC:1][VC:B]

There's only so much hic/folk music I can stand, and that basically ends somewhere around the Doobie Bros. and the good classic version of Lynard Skynard. Although, I must say, I do appreciate a lot of the 90's music, but not so much the backstreet boys and NSYNC, but more of the earlier 90s like Boys to Men and All Four one, although I find it kind of depressing after a little while... So, Zeppelin is still awesome, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Journey were excellent, REO speedwagon didn't seem to be as great though, but they did have a couple of good ones... ----------------------- *Flash Was Here...*

i found out that it depends heavily on my mood, what i listen to. If I'm doing fine, and the weathers good i listen to Skate Punk like Offspring or Sum 41. If i justwant to chill out it's mostly Jazz (Aimee Mann and Esbjörn Svennson Trio). And if im really depressed i start hearing tori amos and counting crows. ----------------------- Iron Horse Squad

Yea man, its all about the weather, although I can't say I have much for Jazz, but then again, get the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack and your set, that crap is friggen awesome. Thier songs that were made just for that show like Call Me Call Me were just insanely good I thought. Really kind of mello, good summer music. Or I suppose if your sitting around playing video games like FFX that music is kind of relaxing because its just like 'summertime' all of the sudden. That avatar reminds me of Vincent... ----------------------- *Flash Was Here...*

I knew that noone would like Sum *g*. I started listening to them when i was sailing Summer 2003. Therefor it was great. Sunny weather, cool breeze a chilled drink. Therefor this kind of Music is best.
To country, i think there are better Songs/Artists but for me it sounds ('cept Jonny) all the same. ----------------------- Iron Horse Squad

I'm not very experienced with steel guitar or slide, but I am quite fluent in the art of 'tapping' and actual technique playing. Name an insane guitar solo (not counting the entire version of Eruption) and I can almost guarentee you I'd have it down pretty quick... I might be a slow learner when it comes to actually 'learning' the song, but once I've got it, I can utilize the thing like you wouldn't believe. Everything I learn goes into a seperate little pocket that has a hole in it that all ends at the bottom somewhere. They meet, and thats what you here... (Mind you I don't just play 80's rock and such, I'm partial to Classical Gas and several excellent guitar peices and classic rock bands music. Got Stairway to Heaven down with some respect as well as parts of thier other songs, need to get the book with everything tabbed out, although I should just learn to... Never mind, I'm rambling... Continue on...)

Pssh. I still say Jerry Garcia was better than Hendrix. Some people agree, some don't. But he was at least the greatest jam guitarist ever. I'm telling you man, listen to some of the Greateful Dead. "The Closing of Winterland" is a particulalry exceptional album, and particularly that version of "Fire on the Mountain." It's normally like, 3 minutes, but they extended it to 12 with all the improv solos. ----------------------- XO/FL/WO1 Chipmunk Man/Kaph 9/Phoenix/mSSD Atrus/DEF/VEN/VE/(=A=)(=SA=)(=*MA*=)[LoC][MC:1][LSM][MC:1][VC:B]
