I thought that's what we were already flying? 
Ok guys, just remember that even though we're flying the regular TIEs, they have been modified with a small amount of shields and a hyperdrive system. Because the Vast Empire is cool like that  -----------------------

As far as I knew they do not have hyperdrives equipped on them unless it is especially installed.

Yes, they probably have shields equal to that of a Z-95 Headhunter. That does mean that their speed and maneuverability slightly reduced, but not by a significant amount.
That's the perk of flying Assault Gunboats - they have tough shields and a hyperdrive, plus ion cannons. -----------------------

I'm pretty sure that the standard equipments used for us does not have Hyperdrives, but however, most of the Ties in the ICS do have hyperdrives, and a few have shields as well. -----------------------

Makes sure to keep yourself involved with the character your supposed to be narrating about and don't waver the line inbetween them. I wouldn't suggest including prior knowledge of the two opposing characters to eachother. Old enemies is a bit overdone, so making him a commander of a ship would probably work best. Also, don't allow Will to have too much power, he's only a flight leader, remember that.
Jack, you might want to revise your oringinal post, you just said three dozen Z-95's popped in behind you and your going to go take them out although your equipped with Gunboats. I really don't have a problem with Rambo or anything, hell, I love the guy, but chances are, your not going to make it a minute into the battle. Kaph squadron and the other three that were mentioned along with it were assigned to protect us on our run, so try to stick with the group and be creative within that area. Considering we've lost a couple of fighters here and there to the clutches of TIES and Uglies, we're about even with the enemy from this planet. So, adding more enemies will induce some major stress upon the pilots that are supposed to be flying cover for them, I think I'll add a little bit about them instead of just writing about what Shazam's doing and what he's thinking, to try and get some more atmosphere that is...
Well, that should take care of my thoughts for now... Peace...

(Oh, and btw... Do remember, almost all craft we've been engaging, that's excluding the ties and a few of the uglies, have shields of some sort. Small or large, they are there, try to take them into account.)

Shazam, I think you misunderstood me. I'm not talking about writing an enemy from past that is commander of some sort. But, I was saying that maybe we can post post from the enemy's point of view, their thoughts, plans, etc. write it as if your VE character has no relation to you at all, as if you are the enemy officer. or me. -----------------------

a little bit fame wouldn't hurt..........much.
besides, they know our info is because they had done covert missions on us, intelligence gathering. And Jack they dont neccecarily have all the info on everyone of us, unless they have one of te most advanced technologies onboard that frigate, but the way it's defended doesn't look like it's worth that much.
neither does that posts have to be partial like mine, it can be all you, or all enemy. btw, the two names came from an adventure book that i'm reading atm. i'll see if I can find any others ones, these names are African and Arabic btw.

I'm telling you, stay away from the 'They know so much about me, or we've met' type of thing. I warn you only because it has been over done in the past and I'm not sure that the character you write about has been the subject of covert opperations while the leader's of the VE and their stategies have been vastly overlooked. I'm not comin down on you, and making yourself the focus of your post is the entire point to posting anyways. So, props to you on bringing in an enemy, however, we're really just starting to womp them now that we've taken down the first frigate. Also, the mission doesn't say 'Destory the Frigates'. Ions simply disable, they do not necessarilly destroy, but I suppose they could...
Don't give the group too many fighters to take down, btw, they're only human. Fatigue sets in soon enough for those in the center of a dog fight... -----------------------

Jack's the one that said the enemy knew about everyone, all i did was to make only Jack and I the enemy's elite fighter's targets to get the story more interesting. But just like Jack said, somewhere, they used to be with the Imperial, so they also know some backgrounds for everyone.
btw, did JMac put a reason for the enemy's leave from the Imperial rule? cause if he didn't, i'm thinking up a criminal reason behind the declaration of independence. -----------------------
