WEll first of im liek to say im happy to be here and cant wait to jump into the cockpit of a TIE and BLOW some REBS out of the sky.
AS for some info abotu me my real name is John RUpert im 23 yrs old and going on my 5th year in the Air Force im based in Las Vegas and am originally from Chico Cali.

Welcome aboard. I'm the executive officer of Kaph Squadron, one of two currently active squadrons in the Navy. You didn't need to post a real name; except for some of us who know each other in real life, we tend to stay annonymous (personal safety, I guess). But it's up to you. We're all listed in the phone book anyway, so I guess it probably doesn't matter that much... But I'm rambling needlessly again.
I recomend that you download mIRC (mirc.com), as that is the chat program we use. It's free, and directions for setting it up can be found in the main menu on the main VE page.
On a personal note, I want to thank you for your service in the military.

Welcome to the Navy. I am 2Lt. Denethor, Squadron Leader of Kaph. You should be getting some more help from sk8guy for the next few steps of your training, but if you need help, feel free to ask any of us.
And to be blunt, I wish to give you some advice. Watch your spelling in your posts. I wouldn't say it in any other situation, but seeing as this club prides itself on the writing skills of its members, spelling and grammar that is as correct as possible even in regular posting is almost essential. -----------------------
