Watched a special New Year's Eve showing of Cirque du Soleil's O at the Bellagio and hung out in the casino eating at a little bistro there. Then went out onto one of the balconies, watched the quarter million plus riff-raff from a safe distance and watched all the fireworks at midnight. Hiked west about a mile past the barricaded roads, grabbed a limo and came home.
Nice, relaxing, beautiful, and safe evening. -----------------------

I had to behave.. no drinking for me, last year I ended up neekid in a Jacuzzi at a party of 100... there are still pictures and I get harassed from that. So this year I just went out to dinner with a couple close friends, had a bottle of wine, we all went back to my house and watched the ball drop then called it an evening lol.... I think Fury had the best evening out of us all... well except that whole watching a giant pickle drop... that gets points for weirdness... any pics of this strange tradition? -----------------------

Me and my girls went clubbing in the city, then spilled out on the streets with about 50 000 other people to see in the new year. Course in the end we had to haul one of my friends to the train station in a trolley, which we lost control of...accidently
He hit about five people, then came to a stop in a ditch.

Ah my favourite new years eve was a few years ago. We got hammered at a house party and then they kicked us out at 4am.
The phones weren't working so we couldnt call a cab and we were so drunk we decided that we would walk the ten miles home, in the snow, wearing only t-shirts and jeans. We had absolutely no idea where we were going, only that we wanted to head south a fair distance. After a couple of hours walking we sobered up and realised that it was the stupidist idea ever. We kept walking and it was light by the time we got home.

Oh my... THAT is funny.... reminds me of a friend of mine who went out drinking with a couple buddies... he called me up at some horrible hour to ask if he could get a ride. Apparently him and a buddy jumped out of the van that was driving them because the van (another not so sober friend of ours) wasnt going to take him home... so I am on the phone with two drunk guys, stumbling through cactus and sitches and other horrible things. I dont remember the upshot, I believe drunk van driver found them.. after running through yards and climbing walls.. running from javalina, was good entertainment for me. Of course they asked me to come pick them up, when I asked where they were, all I got was umm.. in a yard, and I have cactus in me. Tooo funny. Obviously it wasnt enough for me to go on and I told them to walk home
-tip of the day, ducttape removes cactus needles from flesh... important to remember when you visit the desert -----------------------
