Right, I think theres been some serious confusion about the story, that's been pretty evident seeings how we went from like fifteen post a week to four. Now, you can ask whatever questions you have after I'm done with this post.
Now, I see why you'v been confused though, and that's because I havn't been telling you everything, although I suppose I did mention things very breifly.
Just to go through whats happening- Darius, Warren, and Dj have just landed in the NR Base hanger bay and are attempting to create a perimeter so they can move, however, they are currently encountering resistance and are kind of duking it out. After they've established their own security and that of the ship's, they will go in and try to retreive the Seinar System's head engineer, "Derkson."
As for the rest of Nazgul Squadron, I just made out a pretty long ass post, hopefully not too repetitive, talking about us taking out the last seven fighters. Now, our job is to keep the skies secure while the rescue team does their magic. However, I mentioned in the story that there was something else bothering Shazam. What is that? Well, the fact is, and this was supposed to be kind of a surprise although I think I accidentially mentioned it, we're going to get left behind by the Canton. The pirates that we encountered earlier have tracked the Canton out of hyperspace and are currently attacking quite ferociously. What's this mean for us? We have no one to go to once the package has been been recaptured. So, instead of waiting around, wasting fuel and such, we need to land and regroup so that we can go on ahead and help out the commando rescue group. We'll be no help if we just sit there and run our fighters into the ground.
Now, this mission is specially devised so that you can create the story. Thats right, every person can put their ideas into this story because its Nar Shadda. You can do almost anything.
Now, someone, I think Jen or Art, has to post the bit about the Canton under heavy fire and the decision to land. And yes, we are landing on the wings despite the fact they are not meant for that. I suppose we'll look for a soft surface of some kind although that seems a little unlikely considering its all skyscrapers.

Right, keep in mind your characters don't know that the guys name is Derkson or even know who he really is- so you might wanna edit that part out at the end of your post. Also keep in mind, lets try to keep things realistic despite the fact this is indeed Nar Shadda. Have a good time within reason now- sorry if I'm holding you back. Get in what you need to beforehand or after I suppose, but I'm really just hoping for everyone this will allow them to think on their own. Theres no pressure here because its hard to be wrong. M'kay, try to read these on your own man, but basically the Delta crew has landed in the hanger and has managed to take it over. However, there do seem to be some other elements involved, a group of Trandoshin bounty hunters was just after the commando group and are currently infiltrating the NR base while our fair fighters in the sky have received some unhappy news. Apparently the Canton is unable to come back and pick us up on the planet, and it'll be almost an hour and a half before they clear things up, that is if they dont' compeletly jump out. So, we've decided to land in flights on the planet to try and regroup to assist with the NR base takeover. Instead of wasting all the fuel flying around the planet, we'll preserve it by landing in a secure location where our fighters won't go and get looted or taken for that matter.
Take this opportunity to be inventive people.
Flight 1! What do you guys wanna do? Steal a speeder maybe? get some weapons and go down to the hanger? Get to it! Rock on. -----------------------

Right, guys... You don't have to tell me why didn't post or somethin unless it's been like a week. I mean, this isn't supposed to be a chore, its supposed to be fun. Experiment a little. Trevor, if your going to write that post, would you like to steel a speeder for us somehow? Its not that hard guys, just have fun with it. This is your story to create. I've set guidelines and inserted key points, but you guys make the rest of it. If you wanna suffocate someone with a bean bag... GO FOR IT. This is YOUR story. You guys created the story, you helped make the guidelines, thus you must help make the story. Post when you can, we're here to have a good time. We simply reward those who do well. Right now I can tell you someone is going to get promoted if I have anything to with it by the end of this story.
That fifty thou is still up for grabs- Dar is way in the lead, but if you find a posting partner, things can happen.
I'd like to see reports. From basically everyone this week. That means Jack, Jen, Tokijin, Trevor, DJ (he should be around), and Art if possible. Dar and Jen have been excepetional in this task despite other activities, so I think the rest of you can atleast write that two or three sentences saying what you did for the week to myself and your flight leaders. This part is probably the only 'chore' I'm goint to set on you. This has a purpose though. I don't just say it to show that people are active, I do it so I know exactly what my group has been up to and what I can do to help them. If you have a problem with the story, lemme know through their of just any message will do. Take that opporutnity to express your concerns with myself, Jen, and your flight lead through those reports. We are here to help.

Right, those numbers are a little disturbing to me. This isn't supposed to discourage you at all, more or less prove that I think there is a problem. I've been workin with Tokijin and I'm sure she's going to be postin a lot more now, but like Trevor or DJ, you guys were postin awesome and then you suddenly died. Yet I see both Trevor and Dj on all of the time. I suppose all I'm wondering is, "What's the problem!?" That doesn't just go for those two, that means anybody. If you don't understand the storyline, you don't know how to write what you mean, you don't know what your doing at all. CONTACT ME. Please. Really, its not a big deal, as you can see I've got a crapload of time on my hands.
As for the story itself, all of those post are 'good' post, meaning they've said something atleast or provided new information. Through these story post we're hoping to learn more about your characters so they can become dynamic as well as be interesting and entertaining to all of us. I suppose if we had some XvT or XWA people in here, I might've have been able to work with them like that... But I don't think that's really big right now. So lets focus on developing our people out and making this a good story. Its your story, have a good time. Rock on.
(Mind you I don't count myself in the competition, I just put it up there for counting purposes...)

I`m sending in my report right now..kinda late..but better then never*shrugs*.
One quick question on the story though. Are those water pipes we`re going to be swiming through half full or all the way full? high pressure, or fairly low pressure? and when the main pipe splits, do the extension pipes go up? (this would mean a semi-strong presure, and it couldn`t be straight up, or we would have trouble breathing.)
I guess since its OUR story...i`ll just post they`re about 3/4 full, and pretty good pressure.
and it just hit me...all those questions are now non-important..I think your 'steal a speeder' idea just hit me..nice and hard too.

Well, as you might know Jack, we are not allowd to decide what squadrons we are in... Which is why I was little uncomfortable with Jaden's decision to just 'go back' to Nazgul Squadron. However, if no ones is fighting it, I suppose he's returning. Garris, on the other hand, has never been in a squadron or given a position so there isn't really anywhere to go yet. And, since both Kaph and Aegis are very rare on recruits... Well I can't say they'll be placed here anyways. One might say, well I don't wanna be here unless I'm here or here... Thas not what the VEN is about though. You get in your squadron and you make it your goal to make it better- something we see less and less of. So, I say again, this is your time to shine everyone. I am keeping posting scores like a madman, so go out there and have some fun. Maybe you'll see some extra money in your bank accounts by the end of this... Or some medals awarded... Or probably promotions. Anyways, think I've stuck my foot in my mouth enough. Rock on. -----------------------
