Btw, you know how Kad put in that whole message dealy at the top. I'm going to say, if you want, use that as your report/AWOL message creater thing... Since you, Dar, don't seem to like e-mail especially, go for it. But yea, I know your here.
Now, that I seem to have most of my internal members back around, I'm kind of interested into why no one has really posted on the story... And actually, I'm curious as to why no one else, thats all squadrons, arn't posting. It is VEN right? I'm not going to double post, but I do extend them significantly if no one else post. Whatever you guys can do, try and have a good time with it. Don't get so worked up on it, you'll just make it into a chore. I used to do that... Just, not good. Discouraging at best... But we'll get through.
Now, everyone says they can't post, but I see them hanging around IRC or the coment for hours. I just don't get it, that would be the reasoning behind my ranting, or atleast the most part of it. That and when I go to check the storynet someone has posted, but not on the story. Alls I'm saying is, I think people are making it more difficult than it really is, just to post on the story. Half a page in MS word is all you need. Thats like three paragraphs. I gtg, but I'm just asking you guys, do your best. The AWOL check will be in by this Friday. By that time we should be able to make some position changes, really update the site, and if we don't start doin somethin with this story, I'll try to discuss with Japheth the option of a different story. Hmm... Well, it seems that all of our problems, or atleast the ones I've been confronted with over the comnet and through personal messages is directly involving the story...
Okay, here's what I want all of you who have no idea whats going on in the story to do... I want you to either write up an entire bio according to those we have on the site, which is found at:

Alright, this is a super duper edited post because things have changed since I last posted.
Some updates:
Flight 3 is now Flight 2 and Jen officially XO of Nazgul Squadron. And if Jack doens't have a problem with it, I would like him to stay as Flight 3 lead because as he indicated with his status change, he'll be around on the weekends and breaktimes. Hopefully the occasional daily visit as well... My point being, he's around more than enought a flight lead. I ask that he collect reports and report to me so I can send a report out as well.
Other than that, big news squadron story wise. I've been authorized to break away from the wing story and create a seperate Nazgul story so that we can really get our group going in the right direction. Its time to start brainstorming.
For those of you who don't know because your new to the squad or you just forget, you need a bio to participate in these stories. That's my rule atleast. You can post, but you need to have a bio in order for your squadron members to interact with you in the story. Without that bio we can't describe or depict events. So lets get those out of the way, and any test we are able to take so we can start out with the proper rank at the beginning of the story.
I want this story to be something we can all work with-which basically means everyone gets a word. "I'd like it to be rainy..." "On a forest planet..." Whatever. "Rollerskating tycoons..."

Suggestion for Squadron Story: A rescue mission on Nar Shaddaa. An Imperial officer is being held captive by a Rebel cell on the moon and we're sent to rescue him in, let's say, a Lambda-class shuttle. We run into more Rebels, pirates, smugglers, and even a few Hutt crime lords. Any comments/questions?

Story suggestion: I like Jack`s idea, and i might even find a way to bring back Reaper, which was Trevor`s best friend until Trevor thought he was killed by some rebels...I could even go as far as to write up a bvio for him, even if he just remains an NPC, maybe as a pilot in the VEN (or would I have to make another account for him?). Or maybe as a person mechanic or somthing..I dunno.

M'kay... Rescue, eh? We seem to be pretty good at that. As for what we'd be doing, I suppose we'd have to fly escort and take somet things out? I mean, lets keep in mind we're Navy, and yes, I know... Who cares? My point is, we're supposed to be up in the air, but things do tend to happen to get us onto the ground. Although, if you'd like I suppose we could call it a special mission or something where we'd have to land after we've taken out enemy fighters for rescue... I like that. Any more suggestions. Well, if we went with my suggestion, we'd meet up with a small joint pirate/Hutt space force in orbit around Nar Shaddaa, and after we managed to pass that, we'd meet up with a disguised Rebel force in the forms of X-wings and such within the atmosphere of Nar Shaddaa. So, we'd have a Lambda-class shuttle with two pilots and possibly two/three more people, and then the rest of the squadron would fly escort for the shuttle.
Our TIE's would first defend the shuttle against the pirate force (we'd have to abandon that part since we'd be outnumbered) and then the fighters take care of the enemy fighters while the shuttle would head for the small Rebel fortress where our Imperial officer would be. Once he's safely aboard, a signal is sent to the fighters and they all leave Nar Shaddaa (even if there is still an enemy presense) and head back for the Vast Empire territories.

So we do want a singular enemy officer. One that creates problems for us. I say- He's not evil. He's respectable in fact, very honorable. As for the guy we're picking up, lets make him an total ass. One of the super snooty officers who probably doesn't belong in thier position but is an asset for other reasons (i.e. rich family, excellent tactics officer, superier intellect...) Any names or terrain that would like to be put into the story? Or maybe if Dar's around he can give some kind of little known facts about the planet. Here's info on Nar Shaddaa from Star Wars Wikipedia:
Nar Shaddaa was the largest moon of Nal Hutta. More commonly known as the Smuggler's Moon and Little Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa was similar to Coruscant in that its surface was entirely overgrown with city sprawl since 24,500 BBY.
When the Hutts left their homeworld of Varl, they displaced the Evocii, native to Nal Hutta, to Nar Shaddaa. Eventually the moon was annexed by the Hutts, whom started building spaceports and docking bays across its surface, some stretching out into orbit. Over the centuries, Nar Shaddaa grew as an important centre of interstellar trade. Ancient refueling spires and loading docks reached out from the native soil into orbit. In between these ports, massive vertical cities grew. The urban areas on Nar Shaddaa were known as vertical cities since new layers of housing and entertainment buildings were built on top of older layers. Like Coruscant and Taris, the lower levels fell into disrepair and became havens for the lowest lifeforms (particularly the descendants of the Evocii which mutated into unwholesome savages) on the moon. The Hutts continued to exploit the Evocii in their new home, buying up their land and using them as a cheap labor source.
Though Nar Shaddaa was once a prosperous trade center, it lost its glory as the trade lanes shifted. Eventually, Nar Shaddaa became a criminal haven and gained a reputation of being the center of illegal operations in the galaxy. While much of Coruscant was filled with gleaming apartments and well-maintained skywalks, the entire moon was dominated by decaying urban landscape and congested, polluted cities. Now distant from most galactic trade centers, the moon was allowed to run its own affairs with little outside interference. The moon was protected by often-malfunctioning planetary shields. Anything illegal elsewhere could be bought and sold on Nar Shaddaa, and many young smugglers, pirates and criminals started their careers on the Smugglers' Moon. Various sections of Nar Shaddaa were controlled by the Hutts and other criminal organizations. Sections of the urbanised moon's vertical city include the Duros sector and the Corellian sector, which contains three bars popular with bounty hunters-- the Burning Deck, the Slag Pit, and the Meltdown Cafe, and another corner tavern called the Orange Lady.
In 3,951 BBY, the moon was visited by the Jedi Exile in his search for Zez-Kai Ell, a Jedi Master who cast him out of the order. In 1,000 BBY, after the Battle of Ruusan, Set Harth and Bal Serinus dueled on the moon, but were both imprisoned by a Hutt crimelord. In 28 BBY, the Colicoids took over the spice processing on Nar Shaddaa. Han Solo spent part of his early career as a smuggler on Nar Shaddaa. There, he learned the tricks of the smuggling trade from some of the galaxy's best smugglers such as Salla Zend, Shug Ninx and Roa. He had an apartment on the Smuggler's Moon, but after he decided to leave the moon for the Corporate Sector, it was left unused.
Jaxxon and Amaiza Foxtrain teamed up as smugglers, headquartered on the moon. Lando Calrissian also spent his early career on Nar Shaddaa. Prior to serving Colton Antilles, C-3PO and R2-D2 traveled to the Smuggler's Moon in an attempt to apprehend the Olag Greck. The bounty hunter Greedo the Younger and his family lived in the moon's Corellian sector for several years, until an Imperial attack on a Rebel hideout resulted in the destruction and collapse of nearly twenty sector levels. Following the Battle of Yavin, Rebel agent Kyle Katarn traveled to Nar Shaddaa in order to find Imperial navigational charts related to the Dark Trooper Project.
In 10 ABY, Han returned with his wife, Leia Organa Solo, his apartment was still being maintained by his old house-keeping droid. There was yet another surprise for him; the dreaded bounty hunter Boba Fett, waiting on Nar Shaddaa to capture Solo. The Solos also encountered a Purge survivor named Vima-Da-Boda in the slums of the moon. After a chase through Nar Shaddaa's broken-down cities and an encounter with deadly vrblthers, the Solos escaped.
Twenty-some years ABY, the cities of the Smuggler's Moon were destroyed by the extragalactic Yuuzhan Vong. The Y'Toub system was surrounded by some of the Yuuzhan Vong's most deadly warships. Several organic creations were sent down to Nar Shaddaa for multiple purposes. Different types of bacteria would kill of the most of the inhabitants, then process their remains into the soil of Nal Shaddaa. Then all the technology on the moon would also be broken down and absorbed into the soil. Nar Shaddaa was then Vongformed to suit the invaders. ----------------------- Revenge is what holds this galaxy together. Without it, the universe would be a boring place.

That about sums up Nar Shaddaa. I like the ideas, but the part where we're suppose to be navy people, yet we can fight like the army does seem a little awkward, and sometimes inappropriate. So, let's say, do to the NR conflict, all special forces and commando teams are tied up.
