Btw, I sent a message to Corwin, Omulis, Xynen, Lythno, and Raddon... If they don't reply. They're history. Then we can actually get some of these awesome recruits. Its bad enough that some of you havn't been able to get on at all, we shouldn't let others hold back those who actually want to try. SO, guys, lets get active again. Lets be the awesome squadron...
I'll start posting on the story again, my duties have been slightly relinquished in RL. I'll be gone practically two weeks in a row starting the week after next though. So the XO will be taking over during that time. I'll have some goals set out for you guys so you won't be completely in the dark. Especially everyone getting back here and starting to have a good time again.

I know what your doing shaz and really i thank you. your letter was right you shouldn't hold them back when i am in the way so when i come back form my leave i am going to fight for it and win it.
I am putting the game on hold for the moment for RL reasons. sorry about that i need to buy a couple of reference books on unreal technology and 3D building so that will take some time after my leave.

Time for some announcements...
I think I told Jack and DJ that would hold thier positions till bout the end of this week, but I think we need to get going and start to get things into the grove before I go.
Arturus is taking over as XO of the squadron and Jen Knight is going to be head of Flight 3. Jack will remain at flight 2 lead.
Thas bout it, other than I think we'll be sending away some people on our roster here very soon. Open the way for the new people who want in.

Roster changes complete.
I've added a new position into the roster the "Squadron Exec Officer" because "Squadron Executive Officer" was really long and I didn't like the look of just "Executive Officer" it wasn't specific enough for my taste. Anyway, I've added it in and changed the positions of the appropriate people. If you feel like changing your ID line this can be just XO or SXO, I'm not sure I really care. It is accompanied by a slight raise (which may change depending on how things work out) over regular flight leaders to reflect the extra effort I expect of them.

We know that Aldur is around though so no worries about him. In the other flights, Shaz got what he told me was a confusing letter from Raddon (aka. mandor).
It'd be nice to clear off the slack from the roster and build on what we have. Ultimately, I believe we are most likely to be last on the pecking order for new recruits (Sting, Kaph, and Aegis have much fewer members), but nevertheless, it's nice to see 10 active names on the list than 12 names with some dead weight.
Now in regards to the story. Shaz is taking leave this Friday and without him, that leaves Darius to take the lead for writing for the group he is with. Therefore, it'd be nice to finish up the story before Shaz goes so we can start a new project. I'd really like to see us meet and plan out a framework for the next story, maybe even do a bit of group research on it to really make it accurate and professional. So back to that old question, what time is good for all of you? Shaz, from my understanding is giving me control of planning the next mission while he is away so I'd really like to try to use this model of working out a general plot framework in advance so if push comes to shove, we have a guide to fallback on and it all flows, makes sense, does what it needs to do, prevents writers cramp, blah blah blah, etc.
One final thing that just crossed my mind. Linda, as you've seen, as come up with a great idea for a new support craft. That got me thinking, is there anything else in terms of vehicles or other tech that you think would be a great development for use for a squadron? -----------------------

That's it. What the hell does that mean? He hasn't appared yet. But yea, I actually spoke to Omulis, and he said it was just flat out hard to get on, but I still invited him back. He still hasn't come back, so I think we do probably need to cut if I don't get somethin soon. I'll send out one more message, then he's gotta go.
They're a few others I still havn't gotten anything from... I'm thinkin Corwin, Lythno, and maybe one more person. If they're on vacation or something, they havn't said so.
I suppose we'll figure all of it out soon enough though. -----------------------
