Vzalioa, a luscious and fertile planet, is the place where Jen Knight used to call home. It was the home of a joyous childhood, a loving family - but it was also the home of a soon-to-come nightmarish hell. At the age of 21, her parents had took it upon themselves to find a suitable young man for her to settle down with because she had not yet found one herself. She did not want to marry the young man her parents had chosen because, apparently, her parents' definition of love was "wealth", and she did not agree at all with their decision. She put up quite a struggle to resist their demands, but she ended up marrying Kurtis Moore in the end. It wasn't like she didn't know the person she had married though; in fact, she knew Kurtis very well: they had been very close childhood friends, but, even then, she did not trust him. Well, rather she did not trust his irrational behavior and means of relying on a fiery temper to get his way. In the end, her parents' choice of wealth over love resulted in vicious, undeserved beatings every single day of their marriage.

Despite the rapid expansion of heavily-populated cities and technological advancement, Vzalioa somehow retained its original vegetation, luscious forests, and serene beauty. Due to the vast amount of vegetation around the planet, most Vzalioans either became biologists or practitioners of medicine. Jen happened to be the ladder, and had gone to school for a good several years learning this popular trade. To escape her daunting studies and stressful job, she maintained a "secret garden" of rare plants. Unlike most common gardens, hers was the home of some of the planet's most poisonous specimens, including the extremely rare and hard-to-find Areigot (ah-ray-got) - a small plant measuring only 3-4 centimeters at full height that contained enough poison to subdue even the largest Bantha. The Areigot took many months to grow and required a constant vigil, but her efforts soon paid off, and she was able to ground the plant into a fine powder for her future plans.

She knew slipping the Areigot powder into his meals or drink would be a fairly easy task since he constantly kept her in the kitchen to prepare his frequent meals and beverages. Kurtis happened to be very fond of Corellian Ale, a substance that happened to be very difficult to obtain on Vzalioa, and was considered a delicacy. On her twenty-second birthday, Jen presented a very fine meal to her husband (which he had demanded despite it being her special day), and handed him his glass of Corellian Ale with a shaky hand - she quietly waited to see how quickly the poison would subdue him. Her worried-and-anxious expression obviously gave away her intentions, and Kurtis spit out the rest of the Ale from his mouth. He grabbed the knife that lay positioned perfectly next to his juicy steak and lunged at her. She tried to dodge his ruthless stabs, but he was too strong, and quickly overpowered her and slid the blade down across her collarbone. Her kicking and punching made no progress against him, and her cries for help were only drowned out by the vast amounts of acreage they lived on. She was quickly growing tired - her struggles lessoned. Kurtis took this opportunity and pulled back his arm to prepare a deep puncture into the heart, but his eyes suddenly widened and his jaw fell open. The steak knife dropped to his side and produced a loud clang! as it made contact with the stone floor. Apparently, enough poison had made its way into his system and began swelling up his windpipe. Normally, the liquid would have been absorbed into the bloodstream and eventually burst the heart - a relatively slow and painful death. However, Kurtis could no longer take in the oxygen his body needed, and his body slumped to the floor, lifeless. Jen slammed both fists onto his chest and screamed as loud as she could. She was enraged, he got the easy way out.

Jen ran to her parents and told them what had happened. Her parents immediately knew their daughter needed to leave Vzalioa - their justice system was a little less than fair. They needed to send her somewhere where Vzalioan authorities couldn't touch her. They frowned at the decision, but knew it had to be done, and sent her to the only planet they knew she could escape certain death: Tadath. He was retired now, but Jen's uncle, Ruizox Knight, was a Colonel in the Imperial Army - he would take care of their daughter.

Don't get all ancy now...  Take your time, but keep the story moving.  I don't want this thing over in a couple of post.  Try to actually challenge yourselves here, bring up some character conflicts or something.  I don't want to be the one with all the problems just to make an example, that would kind of defeat the purpose of being a Squadron Commander.  Everyone has thier quarks, but I can't make it look like I have a breakdown or somehin...  Not alot anyways.

Whatever, lol.  It looks like our squadron is starting to re-arrive.  I suppose we gotta be happy bout that.  I've received a report from Jen.  Thas about it.  While I'm very happy your all here, you gotta send me a report at least.  Its really the principle of the matter. 

We need a meeting time btw...  Maybe we can do it this Sunday before the meeting?  That's the day before the fourth of July I think.  But I'm not good on that, so feel free to correct me.
