Well, as I said last week, I wanted people to send me promotion requests and such. I missed the meeting, so now is a good a time as any. Without any further adieu...

Crewman Jack Nebulax and Leading Crewman Willtconq are hereby promoted to the rank of Senior Crewman for their activity and contributions to Chapter 8.

Petty Officer 2nd Class chipmunk man is promoted to Warrant Officer 2nd Class for his contributions to Chapter 8 and in recognition of his activity prior to it.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Shazam is promoted to Warrant Officer 1st Class for his outstanding contributions and high activity in Chapter 8, in recognition of activity prior to it, and for service as Kaph Squadron Executive Officer.

Congratulations to all who were honored.

ADDITIONALLY (this show ain't over yet) the following people qualify for the Long Service Medal. The award's text reads, "The Long Service Medal is awarded to officers by the Flight Officer that have been active in the Vast Empire for a period of longer than a year. Proof of date of enlistment is required to receive this medal." Well, some of that is outdated clearly, since there is no 'Flight Officer' position and the proof of joining date is saved as part of your profile. Anyhow, here's the list:

-Lt. Commander sk8guy (who has probably already received this, but he can't remember the medals he had. This is to help rebuild his medal collection :P)
-Chief Warrant Officer Denethor
-Warrant Officer 1st Class Shazam
-Warrant Officer 2nd Class chipmunk man

If you believe you qualify for the LSM and haven't been awarded it, please contact me and I'll look into it.

And as if that weren't enough, I have two more medals to award! I won't repeat the text for these too; instead I'll just LINK the medal database.

WO2 chipmunk man is hereby awarded the Merit Cross, 1st Class for his outstanding performance and contributions during Chapter 8.

WO1 Shazam is hereby awarded the Legion of Merit for his exceptional and substantial contributions to the Navy's Chapter 8 storyline.

Congratulations again to you both.

To wrap things up I'll announce that we're going to be opening a new squadron soon. Kaph Squadron is full now and we're going to need a place to put new recruits. I've already selected the new Squadron Commander, though I will need to have a dialogue with him within the next few days to ensure that he accepts and the transition goes smoothly.

I looked through the medals, and i found that the Imperial Guardian medal which is supposed to be given every month, was never given out to anyone. Why is that?

The Imperial Guardian Medal has, as far as I am aware, not been awarded during the entire time I have been in this Navy. I would be more inclined to award it if we had more active pilots.
