For those of you who had been using the word run on thread or other types of threads of this nature that are designed to boost your post count, your replies to these topics will no longer be counted. If any ComNet admin finds that there is a thread whose purpose is to boost member post counts without posting any relevent information into the reply, we now have the ability to turn off post counting for the entire thread. These types of threads will no longer be counted towards post counts, however, posting on these threads will still consitute as activity.
As you may have noticed, I have turned of the post counting for the "Word Run-on" topic. Many of you may see a slight decrease in the number of posts you have made on the ComNet. This change was made to balance out the post counting routines to produce a more fair post count number for all the members. -----------------------

P.S. In case you hadn't notice, this didn't retroactively fix the "post number" feature of the ComNet... so you can still see what people's old numbers were before this feature was installed. heh
