Kami glanced up in time to see a snow trooper come launching down from above in a flash of white, a chilling battle cry piercing the air as he converged on the retreating Rebels. In a flash he was past, bright sparks flying into the air to the left of the Horses ULAV as a bodyguard fell prey to the man's fury.
The Rebels yelled as one in defiance, the trio of speeders forming a defensive triangle at the rear turning to take advantage of the Imperials break in fire.
Kami watched their fletchette pistols rise almost effortlessly to their shoulders, a single curse breaking free of her throat as she watched fingers close with triggers...

"Hold on!"

Her scream barely had time to reach the ears of Raziel and Telfaris, before she jerked on the controls of the ULAV, sending it streaking towards the icy wall of the trench at full speed. The side of the vehicle hit with a screech of metal, just as a cloud of flame filled the area where they had just been.
Two speeder bikes pinned between the ULAV and the trench wall disappeared, their screams carrying over the whine of the pistols as their bodies were torn out from under them. A cry of horror broke free of  Kami's throat as the fire continued on to its maximum range, tearing through another three speeder bikes before they had a chance to react.. Behind her, Virius swerved violently in a maneuver identical to Kami's, barely avoiding the shards of metal which sparked off the trench wall beside him.

Then suddenly it was over.

The trio faced forwards at a shout of warning from their comrades, their eyes already taking in the rocky terrain in front of them. Just a few hundred meters ahead, the trench narrowed dramatically, its edges closing in into a series of broken clumps of rocks.
"Landslide must've done it" Telfaris yelped from next to her, his eyes wide as they watched Kami's hands strain to pull the speeder away from the wall, "We won't make it! We won't fit!"
With another cry, Kami pulled on the wheel with all her might, finally turning the speeder from the trench wall. Raziel swore behind them as half of the side of the ULAV went with it, slamming underneath them and sending the vehicle wobbling precariously across towards friendly speeders. "Geezus Kami! This isn't a friggin tank" He yelled as she jerked hard again to straighten the speeder.
"I'm sure insurance will cover it..." She muttered back, her eyes intently focused on the pile of rocks ahead of her.
Telfaris glanced between his determined ASL's face, then back to the landslide, the fur about his now helmet less face raising to stand on end, "Um, Sarge. You're not going to do something crazy are you?"
Raziel could be heard swearing softly behind them, the sound followed by the clicking of additional safety restraints, "If you value your life Telfaris," He called, "I'd strap yourself in." The bothan practically leapt to his restraints, unseen by Kami, who watched the Rebels clear the jagged obstacle with ease, maneuvering their speeder bikes up and over the rocks without a single loss.

Gritting her teeth, Kami tightened her grip on the wheel... then planted her foot of the ULAV's accelerator...

The vehicle leapt under her, roaring to 400kph in the space of a few seconds. Resisting the urge to screw her eyes shut as the wall of rocks rose in the viewscreen in front of her, Kami waited until the last second, then sent the assault vehicle streaming across the other side of the trench to the small slope that waited there.
Someone screamed as the ULAV smashed into the bottom of the slope, before it propelled itself up into the air with the groan of a dying animal.
The Horses hit pure air.
The scream turned into a brief woop of joy as the viewport filled for a bare second with a glimpse of sky, before they were falling back to earth...bearing down on a horribly pale blue garbed Rebel.

The ULAV hit the trench floor, smashing the helpless Rebel underneath to pieces before he had the chance to realize the extent of his trouble. It skewed, rebounding off either side of the trench, smashing the Horses inside into various parts of the speeder before it settled into a wobbly path, smoke seeping from either side.
Kami raised her head from where it had smacked against the viewport, feeling the trickle of warm blood slide down the side of her face.
"Everyone still alive?" She managed through numb lips, unwilling to look from the still treacherous path in front of her despite the risk of injured squad mates.
A furry head pulled itself free from the brace position next to her, just in time to take in the broken mess of Rebel though the rear viewport of the LAV.
"You're insane Sarge...but that was a good hit."
Kami flashed Telfaris a smile, then turned her attention back to the remaining Rebels. "Hopefully they might think twice before pulling a stunt like that again."
Her voice faltered slightly as she glanced unsuccessfully behind her for any sign of Virius's speeder.
"Did the others make it through?" She asked Raz, her heart pounding in her chest.
There was a brief pause, then a distinct sigh of relief, "Sure did. In a little less dramatic form that you though..."
Kami turned back to the wheel, a mock grimace on her face.
"I never said I could drive..."

Stonefish was checking on his squadmates' condition back at the shuttle crash site when the call came in. He listened intently, taking in the details over the comm. Before leaving he paused and looked over the three corpses laid out on the snow in front of the shuttle.

This is for vengeance, he said inwardly.

The Wraith soldier sprang into motion, pelting across the snow and vaulting up on to a speederbike hovering nearby.

"Hey!" cried a logistics sergeant from a few metres away, "You can't just take that!"

"I need to kill someone, you want to be that person?" replied Stonefish.

The stormtrooper gunned the throttle and shot off across the tundra, snow spraying out in his wake.

The vista of icy perfection flowed past, the signs of battle dancing on the horizon: blaster fire and smoke rising.

Stonefish tapped a few buttons on the bike's control panel, and lifted the engine safeties, pushing the roar up to a scream, and forcing the Imperial sergeant to hang on to the speeding machine with all his strength.

The fast-moving rebel column approached rapidly, seven troopers and a couple of other men on bikes. Stonefish could also see the Imperial pursuit gaining, and another gully entrance ahead.

Aiming for the head of the column, the veteran soldier pushed the engine even harder, the gauges resting far beyond the redline now, a huge plume of ice crystals lifting behind him. Stonefish knew before he arrived that he was not going to stop in time, so he aimed right at one of the blue-clad troopers, flying toward the man at ludicrous speed. The Wraith trooper saw the rebel's head turn and see his fate approach, and brace himself.

Here we go, though Stonefish.

The impact never came. The speederbike sliced through the rebel column and out the other side. Stonefish craned around to see what had happened, as he felt a thump on the rear of his bike and saw a blue helmet appear clambering up on to the tail of the screaming machine.

The Imperial threw a vicious backhander, connecting with the temple of the rebel guard, throwing him back down a few inches, before he thought to grab hold again. The control panel bleeped ominously, drawing Stonefish's  attention back to the front of the bike.

Overload imminent, cut-off safeties inoperable, for driver safety, please exit vehicle.

"That helps," muttered Stonefish, as he finished, he saw a flash of white and heard a thump as the rebel caught him on the side of his helmet.

The Imperial threw his elbow back, feeling the impact with the rebel's armour. As he did this, he looked forward, and saw the ground drop away sharply no more than a kilometre ahead.

The blue-armoured Guard went for a choke-hold, gripping Stonefish around the neck, and trying to throw him off the bike. As he was pushed sideways, the Sergeant-Major saw a line trailing from the rear of his bike.

Grapple line! he thought.

Ahead, the drop loomed, and was now visible as a cliff-edge. Stonefish went on to automatic. He reached back and gripped the rebel's helmet, pulling it free of his head. The choke hold released as the man struggled to catch his head gear. While he was distracted, Stonefish unhooked his grapple line from his belt, and threw the hook down into the snow, lashing the loose end around his waist.

The Imperial swung around behind the blue-clad rebel, and grabbed his shoulder, pounding his head into the control panel, until it was a shattered, bloody mess. He saw the ground drop away beneath him, and let go of the bike, and the rebel, falling close to the cliff-side. The grapple line caught and Stonefish felt pain around his midsection as he was thrown back and down against the cliff. He saw the rebel and the broken bike plummet down into nothingness, a brief, small explosion a few moments later was the last of him.

OOC: Raz said I could kill two.

Otto and Cyanus ran into the armory of the barracks to see Phoenix lying on the floor and Squall and Snipes leaning over him trying to extract as many of the metallic shards as they could. Seeing that the remaining shards were all so small that removing them was going to be a very hard task Cyanus ordered them to stop. He walked over to Phoenix and knelt by his side.

""There isn't a whole hell of a lot left that we can do with those boss."  he said softly

"I know," Phoenix grumbled, it was apparently all that he could get the strength to say.

""You've gotta try to go into a healing trance, and wait until we can get you back aboard the Dominion and into a Bacta tank."

Phoenix only nodded his head then closed his eyes, and Otto could feel him reaching out to the Force for strength. He then looked at Cyanus, who nodded back to him and they both reached out to give Phoenix the strength he needed.  It was then that they heard their comms crackle and the voice of Kami scream out of it. Saviour was getting away. Otto and Cyanus listened more intently as the orders from Rizzit came through.  Otto was already moving out the door as Cyanus snapped up and barked an order to the Raiders.

""Lukas, Twizted, you stay here and keep watch on Phoenix, the rest of you with us."

Otto burst out of the hole in the wall that was formerly the door to the barracks and immediately saw a small group of speeder bikes off to his right. He bolted to the group and vaulted onto the closest speeder. Quickly flipping the needed switches he aimed the bike towards the opening in the compound wall and sped toward it. The rest of the Raiders were coming out of the barracks as he flew by, and Cyanus snapped his head from where Otto had just been, pointed towards the speeders and led the Raiders to them, each grabbing their own bike.

Otto screamed through the hole in the compound wall and jerked the bike toward the north, a wall of snow kicked up behind him as the bike jolted into full gear. Seeing the aforementioned trench that the pursuit was obviously now taking part in, Otto aimed his speeder up the right side slope next to the trench and followed it up onto the ridge that surrounded it. From atop the ridge Otto could see the path of kicked up snow in front of him that led to another speeder bike piloted by a white clad soldier. Otto wasn't the only one that was using this path to the Rebels. Glancing at the trench he saw a land speeder launch out of the gap and immediately drop back into the trench. Moments later he saw the speeder bike in front of him drop into the trench. Otto dropped his body down closer to the bike and pushed the throttle, getting the bike to go as fast as it could. He could feel the motor groaning beneath him, but he pushed it on. From the other side of the trench he saw another speeder bike drop down into the fray, and then seconds later come back up on his side, this time with a blue clad passenger. He paid no mind to the speeder zooming off to the east. He knew that it wasn't a fellow Raider, he hadn't felt Cyanus reach him yet, and he knew that Cyanus would be the only one able to catch up with him. In the time that he knew it would take to catch the group of Rebels he tried to come up with a plan. He moved the bike closer to the edge of the canyon and glanced down into it. The group of Rebels were about 100 meters in front of him, and he was parallel with the middle of the pack of Imperials, and passing them with no problem at all. He slid the bike back to his right and sped on.

He decided that it would be best to get in front of the pack of Rebels and then drop down to cut them off. About a minute later he slid back to his left to see where he was in the pursuit. He was now even with the front of the Rebel pack. The group had positioned itself so that Saviour and Shansta were in the middle of it, and were flanked on all sides by Saviour' bodyguards; it would soon be his time to pounce. He stayed close to the edge to determine where he would need to drop, but slid back as he saw a trooper in the rear of the group risk raising his blaster.
Well, he knows I'm here, hopefully the others don't

About 30 seconds later he decided to drop into the trench, glancing to his left he could see the Rebel pack grow closer, but they were still far enough that he could actually make his plan work. He moved his speeder bike into the middle of the trench and sped forward. Seconds later he slammed the bike into a stop and jerked the bike to his left, aiming the front of the speeder towards the west wall of the trench. The front speeder bike of the Rebel pack loomed upon him. Otto leapt from his bike and used the Force to launch him into the air.

The front Rebel couldn't react in time going so fast and his bike crashed headlong into Otto's vacant vehicle. Both bikes and the blue trooper went up in a ball of fire beneath Otto's airborne body. He spun 180 degrees in the air and came down on the back of the speeder of the rear most guard. The guard still had his blaster pistol in his hand and tried to swing it around once he realized he had a passenger. Otto quickly brought his arm up to knock the gun loose from the guard's hand, and then grabbed the man's arm and brought it behind his back. Otto heard bones break as he forced the guard's arm out of its socket. The guard let out a small groan but kept his other hand on the controls, trying desperately to keep the bike straight. Otto was a bit taller than the guard, and had the Force to assist him in his next plan of action. He grabbed the man by the neck cuff of his armor and lifted him off his seat with his right hand and slammed his left fist down on the guard's other arm, breaking it free of the speeder's controls.. Holding the guard out over the snow, he slid himself up onto the seat of the bike and grabbed the left handle bar. Straightening out the bike, he began to lower the trooper down onto the snow. Otto heard the guard scream and glanced down at his enemy. The lower half of the man's legs had been torn off from touching ground at such high speeds. Otto grinned evilly and looked up to see a rock formation jutting out of the eastern side of the trench. Reaching it, he used the Force and his own strength to launch what was left of Saviour's guard into the side of the formation. He heard rock and bone shatter as the guard smashed into it. Otto brought his right hand to the controls and noticed that he had dropped back from the Rebel group. He kicked the throttle up and attempted to catch back up.

Squall saw an explosion in the air.  He twisted the throttle control on his speeder, and it made a whining sound as it accelerated.  He heard the sound of another speeder bike behind him, and looked back.  It was Snipes, and JR.  They were doubling on the bike, and Snipes was shooting.  Squall dropped back behind them, and followed.  They dropped into the trench, and Squall spotted Otto and Cyanus on bikes in front of him as well.  They picked up speed, and met up with Otto and Cyanus.

Squall spotted the pack of rebels in front of them, about 250 yards.  Snipes shouldered his gun, and took aim.  Squall pulled up on the left side of him.  He motioned them to follow, and pulled to the left.  JR jerked the bike to the left, following Squall's every move.  Squall pulled out one of his many sticky grenade.  As he inched closer and closer to the left side of the rebels, his finger itched to activated it, and just toss it on one of the speeders.  Savior was in the middle, on the left side.  There were 3 rebels beside him.  Snipes shot a few rounds into the 3 of them, and took out the back of one of the speeders.  The bike started to loose speed, and the rebel panicked.  Squall smiled, and activated his sticky grenade.  He pulled up to the by the speeder, and tossed it.  It floated through the air, and landed on the back of the rebel.  He swung his army back, to try to get it off, but it was too late.  Him, and the speeder exploded.  Snipes snapped back and gave a *thumbs up* sign to Squall.  He waved back, and kept on with the pursuit.

Once of the soldiers on the left that was beside the man that Squall took out, swung his bike sideways, and came nose to nose with Squall.  Squall, not reacting fast enough, smashed straight into the speeder, and was thrown off.  He flew in the air for a few moments, and smashed into the ground.  He glanced up to the the rebel speed off, just as he blacked out.
