Hello,
It has come to my attention that I have been *extremely* lax in providing adequete leadership for the Navy as of late. Life has been catching up with me, between work, school, and a possibly baby on the way.
So as such, it is with heavy heart that I resign the position of Naval Commander-in-Chief, and relinquish the position to my Executive Officer, Rear Admiral PJ.
Congratulations PJ, and my deepest apologies to the Navy for the time it took me to come to this decision.

Even though I'm busy with the Army and DJO, I will help in any way needed to fill gaps. PJ, you have my support. I would like to ask that all squadron bantering of "We're elite/more active/etc" be put on hold until the Navy gets it feet back under itself. Recruitment of GOOD pilots that will make good officers is needed. The Navy has seen worse days than this (when it first started.. the Army was the only main division for a while) and it will get better over time. Good luck to Syths and the Navy as a whole.

With your leaving, Syths, I think the Vast Empire loses one of the most experienced intelligence officers and one of the coolest people this club has ever had.
I am sincerely sorry to see you leaving us and hope you would somehow stay, but I guess real life one way or another always wins in the end. I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors throughout life, Sythies.

Actually, I would give my vote to Rasputin. Who else can drink a whole gallon of vodka and still make witty comments that make the leaders of several world powers look like schmucks? 
But this is sort of off topic. Syths, I know I've never really gotten to know you, but I think it would be awesome to have you stay on as an advisor. We could use some good advising these days, especially with a brand-spanking NHC and no XO at the moment. With you and Talon helping, we can make the Navy numero uno.  -----------------------
