oh i think all the other dashboard songs arnt much, but i love vindicated, for somereason, Nickleback is awesome, i've noticed a trend with my dad and his friends think all my rock sonds the same, and i think all his 70's-80s stuff sounds the same, excapt black sabbeth, theres just something awesome about black sabbeth.
Punk is all about the lyrics, actualy listen to them someday, i love this stuff, i love how fast it is and just howmuch fun it is to listen to and play.
christian-punk is like the biggest oxy-moron in existance, or atleast it should be, i mean you cant realy skate to that stuff, and you cant realy enjoy the lyrics, so that just comes down to people who cant sing well enough or play well enough to get into a rock group.

Snipes, I'm not fond of punk, but these guys are good musicians. They have won many battles-of-the-bands. Just 'cause their songs are about God and not hating "the man" doesn't automatically mean they can't sing or play. -----------------------

no, because they play in a punk band means they are bad mucisians and bad singers, basicaly originaly punk was guys who cant play or sing but had something to say, normaly about politics, it has evolved into an anti-conformity, more or less, music genre. punk isnt all the music style, its partly the lyrics, and whats ment by them, like the definition punk band the Sex Pistols song "I am an Anti-Christ"

I'd like to address some good old melo music... "Jumper", "Hows it ganna be", and "I want something else" aren't necesarrily melo, but they are calming, but they get you into the music with thier secondary guitar riffs... Quiet at first, but then they ram 'em out, and its just awesome. Another band, very new, not well known, is a band called Little Mojo, they couldn't have picked a gayer name in my opinion, but I had the chance to meet the lead singer 'Josh Sinclair', at my camp, and he is very very very good on a guitar. I got one of thier 2 cds, lol, and I was pleasently surprised. I would not be surprised if they made it big somehow. -----------------------

Anything and everything AC/DC is amazing. I wouldnt say they are my favorite band, because I don't have any. If I did have to pick one though, it would probably be them. The best AC/DC songs have gotta be;
Thunderstruck, Highway to Hell, Hell's Bells, Back in Black, Shoot to Thrill, You shook me all night long, Money Talks, Rock n Roll aint noise pollution, Problem Child, Jailbreak, Hard as a Rock, For those about to Rock we salute you, TNT and Dirty Deeds done Dirt Cheap.

Possibly, in my opinion, the most excellent bands I've ever heard... A couple of there songs are so stoned out into the steller it just blows my mind... A couple that I always think of are the two CSI theme songs... 'We won't get fooled again,' from CSI: Miami, and now 'Teenage Wastleland' from CSI: New York. Love both the shows, but the music is quite rich. LISTEN! -----------------------

The Chieftains - "Shady Grove"
Ricky Skaggs is a really good musician, I had the chance to watch him from a bit less than ten feet away. His hands were flying! I've never seen anybody play a mandolin that fast, I actually couldn't figure out where his fingers were, they were moving too fast.
[Ack, forgot the US is the only nation using the English system. For those unfamiliar with it, 10 feet is somewhere between 3 and 4 meters. It was AWSOME being that close to the bands! I even got to meet the Seldom Scene. Now there's a good bunch of guys. Long live the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival!]
