France vs Netherlands is my pick.  I think the Dutch team is stronger than the German and will win in the semis should they meet there.

I was inspired by the Swede's aggresive style of play when they absolutely kicked Bulgaria's ass with their 5-0 hammering. Now if they only they can hand over the same scoreline to those damn Italians..

Germany plays the most boring football.

Ever. Uber bohren. But they have shown over and over again that you don't need pretty football or big superstars to win major tournaments. Just look at World Cup 02, nobody rated them but they ended up as finalists.

Nederland?

Hehe, great players here. Jaap Stam, Edgar Davids, Van de Vaart and of course, Ruud Van Nistelrooy!! They drew with Germany, recently, so that's something. But history has shown that the dutch have always cocked up during major tournaments. We'll see.

Portugal.

Bah. With their failure to put Greece away, it's even doubtful if they can get past the group stage. But I always liked this team, because of Figo and Ronaldo. Hope they get through.

Spain has a star studded cast with the likes of Raul, Morientes, Antonio Reyes (fack I hate this guy), Casillas and Salgado. But their international record is still horrible, for some reason. I'll put them as far as making it to the quater finals.

Then it's time to go home for the Spaniards. At least it's a short trip.

England England England!!

Hehe. I'm putting alot of money on the brits this time round. This lot of wossies had been underachieving since 1966 when they won their only world cup. Could this be their first European championship?! Dun dun dun.

With Rooney, Gerrard (sure that back pass last week was horrible but he's good, honest!), Owen, Scholes, and Beckham (yeh he's more of a marketing tool but his crosses are still great, and he better learn to take penalty kicks for God's sake, even I could score those! ^^) my rating for my personal favourite is.. third place overall.

I have nothing to say for the French and the Italians, despite their being favourites for this tournament. Hate those blokes.

What do the pistons hafta do with soccer...anyway personally I dont see Portugal geting past the first round because sure they do have talent but they choke in these kind of things.(example Greece).  Plus Figo sucks...he's a diving crybaby who thinks he's the best in the world...however it's hard to be the best when you have only one foot.  I've watched every game so far and I have seen him do anything significant with his left foot once and that was a crappy shot.  If only the portuguese will relize this than portugal would be much better off.

Mhm, judging by the results, alot of my predictions were wrong.

Portugal did went through the group stage, too bad for poor Spain. England knocked out. Germany are nowhere the finals.

Sad to see England go. It's not fun without them for me, because I dig the english premier league. Beckham should have at least kicked that ball right, it went straight over.

Problem with him was that he tried to score a beauty by slamming the ball into the top right. Instead, he made a fool out of himself. He should have a given a fast, low ball like all the rest did.

Stupid pretty boy. Missed three penalties in a row.

Italy is also another group stage upset. I can't believe some people actually rated them as finalists. Idiots. Wait, I rated Germany as finalists..

Hope the Italian team are ready for the rain of tomatoes waiting at the airport for them.

There's still Nederland and Sweden for me. Right now I'm waiting for the France-Greece match. Doubt that the Greeks can knock out the french trollies, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
