Heard this last night.

There are three sisters living together in this house. Their ages are 92, 94, and 96. The 96-year-old is about to take a bath, so she turns on the water and places one foot in the tub. She pauses... She couldn't remember if she was getting into the tub or getting out.  She calls down to her sister, the 94-year-old, and asks for her opinion.

The middle-sister says, "Alright. Hang tight, I'll be up in a minute to help you figure it out." She starts climbing the stairs, but pauses in the middle of the stairs. She can't remember if she was going up or down.

The 94-year-old calls down to the 92-year-old sister, and the 92-year-old sister laughs and says, "Well, I certainly hope I don't get THAT senile!" And she knocks on wood for good measure. She finally shouts up, "Ok! I'll help you two figure it out... right after I see who's at the door."

First, not all teenagers have that description, niku. I've been homeschooled mostly all my life, and was brought up in a very mature atmosphere. The High School atmosphere, to me, is filled with idiocies, immaturity, and foolishness. So, I have to carefully "choose" whom I meet because a lot of teenagers today are just so full of crap it isn't funny.

Second, this topic was meant to be as a little thing for fun jokes. Racist jokes, or jokes putting down any other race, is not to my liking, and I did not make this topic for such jokes. Perhaps I should have stated that in the first place, but maybe I thought that this would not be a problem. Racist jokes should always be withheld from forums, such as this, because there's always going to be one or more people (including myself) who do not like to see such racial remarks and/or jokes.

Third, Rema: racial slurs, jokes, and comments may be accepted by your friends at school, but it is not accepted here, and I would appreciate that you remember that in the future. You say that you "know what you're doing", but in this day and age, not a lot of adults know what the hell they're doing, and by you posting such a joke on this board, it tells me that you don't understand that you haven't thought about your actions-and their affects-before posting. So until I see more think-before-acting, I'll have to hold my doubts as to whether you do really "know what you are doing".


Now, just to clear things up for the future, this topic will be reserved for clean jokes only. No racial jokes will be accepted here, period.

My wife's career path has this philosophy that dictates everything they do.  It goes something like, "those who are the majority hold the power and the responsibility for carefully using that power." 

Coming into this channel and telling a supposed joke about the genocide of all Arabs might get you laughs in a KKK rally, but it shouldn't do so here.  Its a violation of CoCs and instead of saying "what's the big deal?", I'd have you know that if anyone came in here screaming "Kill Whitey" or something equally as odious, I'd be applying at least the same pressure.

What we've done here is try to point out the obvious point that hate speech is not condoned here and, make no mistake, joking about the death of millions is not a laughing matter.  The mistake was that by pointing out the error and the offense, you'd be adult enough to see why and express some form of understanding. 

You have not done so.  It is racist, it is genocidial propaganda, and it will not be behavior permitted here. 

You want to join the Klan, get the heck out of this club and go spread your crap somewhere else. You want to attempt to grow up and figure out where the line between civilized behavior and barbarism is, we'll all give you 30 different viewpoints on it; none of which include laughing about gas chambers.
