Well unfortunately the time has come when I no longer feel I should be a part of the Vast Empire. I have had a good time here, mostly, since I came back from my previous retirement, but my recent failure at university showed me among other things, that I don't have time for everything I want to do. I have many things left to do with Jester, but I am afraid much of that will have to be passed on to its future squad leader. I have yet to decide who that will be, and must talk with Fury on that. I will attempt to finish most of the projects started there before I do actually leave it to the new commanding officer.
Now you're all going to post after this asking me why, trying to convince me to stay, wishing me well, etcetera. I will not disappear completely, and trust me, this is for the best. I swore after LSF that I would never join another club/clan/league, and I should have stuck to that. Being here has caused a great many problems for me, despite the enjoyment it sometimes offered. The place is, despite all our best efforts, dying down, and I personally don't really wish to stick around to see that happen. Knowing my luck, I would get blamed for it somehow. 
So to Frog and Vult I say this, stay, don't stay, I don't care anymore, I'm no longer your CO. Hashi, you have been a wonderful trooper, if a little too lazy and requiring a bit too much prompting for activity at times.  Dragoon, get your ass into gear. Sokudo, get your head out of that stupid game and back into a real one. Tylen, good luck in school. It was a pleasure being your SL, even if I still had to deal with the rest of VE to do so. Later everyone.
P.S. There are heaps of people that, at times, were the only reason I stayed in the VE. If you don't know who you are, or wonder why the hell you think you are one of them, come ask me. -----------------------

Sometimes I hate our PG-13 rating.
I understand your reasoning, though regret you have seen this as a way to free up some personal time. Good luck with everything and I'm sure you'll come visit us from time to time.
Thanks for everything you did along the way.
As for the rest of your squad, I'd like a headcount sent to my email as to who is staying or not just to see if we'll have to transfer you guys or can still throw together a solvent scout squad. -----------------------

I may not be Jester but I can say from what conversations we've had I'll miss you.
I also cannot dispute your reasons.
I too see far too many things that are happening in the VE that happened in the IW but have taken longer is all.
I don't want to start any fights with that last statement but it is true.
This is a trend as of late and I'd like to help stop it if possible. It seems all we are ever faced with recently is bad news. Now we can let this get us down or we can get out there and do what each of us does best. For me that is writting fiction anymore.

Well I just discussed it with Fury, and we agreed that Dragoon should be the new Jester SL. This means that none of you get moved, and you still get a nicely insane character as your leader. Enjoy.  -----------------------
