Flight 2
It is Monday of the third week of the Wing Story and I have noticed some issues. The first week it was only Cyleaf and I posting. The second, activity was low between Cy and I from the holiday but we still were able to get something in. At this point of the third week I have been the only one to post.
What I am trying to say is that activity is very lop sided in Kaph Flight 2. I have made 2/3rds of the posts thus far and Cy has the other third. I have seen nothing from the recruits. We need everybody to post to win.
I don't want to just sit here on my soap box and yell about what is wrong, I believe I have a solution for our little dilemma. So from here forth begins a mini contest within Flight 2. It will end on Friday, December 8 at 9:00pm EST (same time as Kaph meeting.)
Whoever gets in the most 500 word story posts (they must advance the story plot or have character development to count) during this time wins 50,000 ICs out of my pocket. There is a catch, I must also get the report for this week and next for your posts to count. That means that if two people post 8 times and one zero and the zero poster gets in their reports while the others don't, that person wins. This contest doesn't include me of course, just Flight 2 flight members.

I think the answer is yes, C3PX3, the point is to get in more activity and posts. Course I may be wrong as Than has his own ideas.
I propose we do the same in flight one only it comes out of Demonic's pockets =P. As for the story, I'm not up to doing a major plot affecting post so I'll wait for the moment to pass. Sorry... -----------------------

C-PX2, unfortunantly for you, you have to send your reports to 3 people, Than, your flight leader, Demonic, your Squadron XO, and me, your SC. just make copies of one. 
and as for the competition, sure, we'll have one. only the winner will get 100k, seeing how i can afford it, and Demonic's gonna be a little tight on budget soon enough . and the overall rules will be as Than stated above. Even after the contest being announced, I didn't see much increase in activity. It was only Cyleaf and I again. This contest was suppose to be incentive for the recruits to get into the story, not a way to give Cyleaf easy money.
By the way, if I don't get Dredj's report before the VE meeting tomourrow, he is DQed. -----------------------

Sorry everyone I probably should have posted here first, but I always work my way up on the boards starting with Naval Academy. I have to bow out of the Living on a Prayer story, at least temporarily. Hellkite has been given permission to think and fly for me as his companion. Hell, he's done a good job so far.

Etan... Don't be intimidated. Trust me, it just takes practice. I'm not nearly half as good as these people cause im not used to navy. However, the only reason I make better posts is cause i have experiance doing these posts from the army. If you look up hunter emnis in the army story board, you can see my writing was a lot worse than yours at the time. You're improving, if you really feel the time out is necessary, I can't stop you. But really, we're going to miss you.
Come back soon. As for the rest of flight 1, I'll get the post up tommorow with the twist/betrayel we came up with during the meeting. -----------------------

Yeah sorry everyone. I shouldn't have missed one, but Thanks to my good friend Cy, I had all the questions and from there I looked up all the answers. But # 6 was about what irc server or user? does the VE currently use? I am currently having problems with that area and got it wrong.
Maybe that is why I am having problems?
#12 Was, What name and class is the Naval Flagship? I looked and looked and could not find it. I used the name Doashim from the Livin on a prayer story board. And I used Star Destroyer as the Class. But if anyone can give me the correct answer, I would appreciate it. I can't find it or else give me a link.

For your benefit, the flagship, currently, of the VEN is the mSSD Atrus. Note the fact that I italisized the name of that particular ship- for any ship, actually. I trust you know how to use that form of HTML, but remember it when you write in stories. Also, the mSSD stands for 'Modified Super Star Destroyer'- look up Super Star Destroyer and you'll get the same idea though. The Doashim, however, is a strike-class cruiser- again, notice the italics and the ship. Look up that exact wording in wikipedia or even search through the VE's wikipedia, and you'll get hits.
Why have I done this? Guys, every time you see someone like a new member say something incorrectly or just misspell to hell- correct them. Eventually it'll get through- trust me  That's my apparation for the day. *Hides inside of box and when others open to see if he's still there, they only find another box, then they open that one to find another box, and then...* -----------------------

One thing I have found on the wiki, is that, you have to be pretty specific with your searches. Vague questions give you vague answers. I think I typed in flagships, then I tried star destroyers, and I got all kinds of different information on the various types of Capital ships, but no real answer to the question.
It was class A reading, don't get me wrong, but not the answers to the question. I'm learning though, day by day. Now onto the Senior Aviator's Exam. Wish me luck everyone. -----------------------

Yeah Sayah,
You can transfer or be a part of both the Army and the Navy.Ther are alot of Navy here who started out in the Army.
I chose just the Navy because of previous flight experience I have had. Plus, I don't have the time to do both.
However, I have dealt with you in other story-boards. And I have to say, even though I am the least experienced person here, that the Navy is a little more intellectual, and a little less I'm gonna kick your ass attitude.
So a heads up, relax and enjoy.

no, transfering is different from having two accounts with one in each division. But it's still do able. The only thing is, that every time you switch, you loose 2 ranks, i think. and it's generally suggested to not do. But if you feel you absolutely have to, then by all means, talk with Kad, he's the head honcho. -----------------------
