Good News or Bad News? hmm, I think I'll start with the good ones.

Promotion:
After three weeks with the new point system I inserted, one stands far above the rest. As for his consistent and dedicated works, I here by promot Than Sion to the ranks of Warrent Officer 2nd Class. Congratulations.

Keep up your reports and attend the meetings, you could be the next to get promoted.

Roster changes:
Along with this promotion, comes roster changes. Demonic, even though has shown great activity, fails to show much in what matters most, story posting, for that, he has been removed from the Flight Leader position, and has been moved to Kaph-2, my wingman. He gets to keep his XO position this time around.

In his place, the newly promoted WO, Than Sion, has been moved to the Flight Leader position. Congratulations again.

Now onto the Bad News. well, not so bad, yet.
As I've seen from the point system that it doesn't seem to be working as well as I hoped. Than is active as he alwasy have been, those of you that arn't as consistent, still arn't improving. Thus, I'm giving you one last chance. Next week, If I don't see a report, you will be faced with possible fines, awol, or even demotion. Do I make myself clear?

Meetings, I did not require it, but from here on out, I am. It is impossible to get any planning done with you all if none of you are present. Yesterday's meeting, aside from myself, 2 present, 1 attended. Needless to say, that one was Than. The meeting time is Fridays 9:00PM EST on mIRC in #kaph-squadron. If you have any problems with this, let me know along with a better time for metting, if not, then it will be your loss.

The current story is moving too slow. I understand the it's been a bit confusing, but that is't solved when no one asks me about it. We have...16 posts in 2-3 weeks? Do I need to remind you that we are the ELITE SQUADRON? If so, take a look at yourself and ask, are you acting like part of the Elite Squadron? I was talking to Shazam today, and this is what the restuls will be if things are to continue the way they are: Kaph will be removed of the title of Elite Squadron, and possible have it given to one of the other two squadrons. And if your activities don't pick up, then I will be forced to let Shazam take over for a period of time as the commander of Kaph, and believe me when I say this, as the Wing Commander and Training Officer, he will do as he pleases to whip this squadron into shape. But remember, those of you that excel, will achieve ranks and positions that are up for grabs when they come, those that don't, will be faced with staionary ranks and positions, even demotions.

I don't feel bad at all saying that I am disappointed at you. And with this kind of activity, I don't think Kaph deserves the title of Elite at all. Whether to throw it away or keep it, that's up to the rest of you.

Okay guys, I'm getting tired of not getting reports. Only Than sent his to me this week.

If you guys dont send your reports to me, and I submit the squadron report that week, you get counted as not reporting and inactive for the week. Just send the report to me too. It isnt that hard.

Anyways, like will said, lets act like an elite squadron should and get writing!

Going off of Will's post and the thoughts of you guys that I've spoken with, allow me to address a few things-

I feel the general feeling in the Navy is that this is becoming a job, or atleast for most members of the two squadrons besides Nazgul and even some within my own squadron.  What does that mean?  Very simply we lack interest for some reason and that needs to be addressed immedietly, so I'd like to instruct you guys to provide with some possible problems with the story.  Also, I understand that there may be problems with scheduling, and as everyone should know, school is far more important than this site- so problems should be addressed here as well.  However, they should not be addressed vaguley- give us an idea of what you're schedule is going to be like and when you're going to be around on IRC and the ComNet so you can post and communicate with eachother.  Seriously- talk to eachother.  I know Will, Than Sion and Demonic are on very, very often- the three of you should be getting together regularly.  How about you Cyleaf?  Scout I know I've seen, though in the later hours most of the time.

Also- I think requiring a weekly meeting is good, but exactly what you're going to do at the meeting should be addressed here and now.  Also, you said missing is unnacceptable- I agree to some extent.  If you are going to be gone- how long do you have to let us know?  Seriously.  Work out a time where you know that everyone should be able to make it and get on that. 

A quick review- we're looking at three awesome leaders right now.  Will is you commander, he sets up the stories and moves them along because he has the most experience in this category and knows what he's talking about.  Demonic is your second in command because he's more than proven his worth in the ESC, and Than Sion's consistancy has rewarded him with the position of Flight Lead- use that.  Than: you're a flight lead so make sure that you are getting reports.  If you're not- message your people about it.  Also, for those you receive reports from, it may be good write them back so they know they're getting something out of these things.  That goes for you as well XO and SC! 

Any questions, comments or concerns should really be addressed in this thread so you guys can start communicating- I think that's the really, really important part here.  Any thoughts?
