The zone has ended its support for XWA and XVT which will severely limit abilities to find new navy recruits there.

Hey I thought I would give you guys some heads up on the zone. Now I stole this from the Black Sword so anyone whos in FES.. DONT KILL ME!
"As some of you have read and annouced many times about the folks up there at Microsoft and their decission to scrap the Star Wars X-Wing Alliance and X-Wing Vs TIE Fighter MSN Gaming Zone rooms. However, the increased activity in the rooms lately have cause the Zone staff to instead merely move the rooms from the general to the direct play category.
To find the new rooms, go to "All Games" and go under "ZoneLAN - DirectPlay" or simply click this link -> http://zone.msn.com/directplay/default.asp?TAd=1.
You'll find the rooms as "XWing Alliance" and "XvT Rebel Base II". Enjoy guys!"
So its not fully off zone, its just... not as popular anymore with the main crowd and therefore eliminated as a main course game. Ok just some friendly information. -----------------------

Oh...That's bad. Now whatever will we do? SWG might make it for us...and it might not. With all the other crap coming out soon, (i.e. combat space flight sims, good strategy games (what a novel idea), etc), people might not want to pay the X amount per month to play SWG. I know one of my friends who was considering that started playing Shadowbane because it was out and it actually worked--it's $13 a month, and now he won't play anything else. *shrug* -----------------------
