Alright, I love that scene from the Fifth Element.  However, none of you are fired. The following troopers will be beaten soundly until they reveal the plot of Episode III. Err....I mean they are being rewarded for their activity during the Ord Durall mission and for various other projects such as the Raiders' online game testing of recent note. From the Dark Dragoons: TK-112 - promoted to Sergeant Kjerri - promoted to Corporal From the Raiders: Rizzit - promoted to First Sergeant JR - promoted to Sergeant Swomz - promoted to Sergeant the3Djedi - promoted to Sergeant MaraJade - promoted to Corporal Drogo - promoted to Lance Corporal Sniping101 - promoted to Lance Corporal Special recognition comes not just in promotion, but also in the means of medals.  This occurs rather infrequently given the atmosphere in which we operate and in the inability to judge how well people are doing sometimes.  In short, it is hard to see how the troopers in the field are doing from the head office on Tadath.  One thing I have been able to notice is the hard work that some have been putting out, especially the whole of the Raiders squad.  If there were to be an Elite Squad Competition, it would be a no-brainer to give it to you troopers.  The other squads need to take a page from you.  Of course, it helps that all of you are actually active and involved. For those reasons, I award the following medals, followed by their description from the Army Manual: First Sergeant Rizzit:  Red Crescent of Devotion [RCoD] - A medal for the members of the Army that have increased morale and activity by keeping the attitude of the Army during hard times light and energetic. Sergeant First Class Otto Vox: Star of Sesswenna [SoS] - Granted to stormtroopers who have been in service for a very long time. It is for loyal, persistent and dedicated members only. Sergeant Swomz: Iron Heart [IH] - A medal for the troopers of the Vast Empire Army that have shown their bravery, courage, and honor by increasing a squad’s or platoon’s activity and having a major effect on the overall activity of the Regiment. Sergeant the3Djedi: Iron Gauntlet [IG] - Awarded to members who have shown bravery in the bloody onslaughts of battle. -and- Ring of Merit [RoM] - A ring for troopers that have given their life, shown their bravery, and displayed their courage by giving one hundred percent in a competition or campaign. The Army High Command may award this medal to any trooper that has displayed these traits. Not everyone gets to be as shot up in a campaign as you did and work through it. Corporal MaraJade: White Medallion [WM] - Medallion for members of the Army that have shown their activity in the Army by creating and managing a webpage. This medal has two classes, first and second. First (Blue Medallion) is the higher and warrants a better constructed and maintained webpage. The second class white medallion represents a good webpage and frequent improvements to the site. Note: This is not a commentary on the quality of your page.  It is recognition of a job well done.  Before I grant a Blue Medallion I like to see a timely continuity of good effort. Lance Corpral Drogo: Legionnaire Medallion [LM] - Granted to soldiers who have displayed courage under fire. From the Dark Dragoons I would like to reward the following: 2nd Lieutenant Peacemaker: Cross of Resolve [CoR] - A medal given to the troopers that from day to day show manners and activity befitting an officer. These troopers are very active and ready to help the Vast Empire any way they can. Corporal Kjerri:  Legionnaire Medallion [LM] - Granted to soldiers who have displayed courage under fire. And one other special item for note for Lieutenant Colonel Cosmic.  This is a trooper who came into the ranks and would not stop until he made something of himself.  When he transferred into the Training Office, I thought we had lost a highly active trooper to a desk job.  Instead, he turned that office around and made it the efficient operation it is today.  Though membership is down across the board, whenever a potential recruit comes to the Stormtrooper Corps, it is guaranteed that Cosmic will provide a quick response and will try to keep that recruit active until they pass their basic training. For his diligent and productive service to the Empire, I award Lieutenant Colonel Cosmic the Crescent of Heroism [CoH] - A medal for the command staff members that have given their all to increasing the activity of the army and Vast Empire in general. This medal shows prestige and above all else loyalty to the ever-growing Vast Empire. As another token of recognition, I would also like to reward the good Lieutenant Colonel by making him a full Colonel. Congratulations to all of you. Actually I was pretty sure I had made a mistake and I was hoping it wasn't one like this. I apologize for the error.  Keep up the good work and you will make Sergeant on your own merits soon enough.  I will be sending you a small packet of ICs to help you fund the drinking spree this will likely drive you to have.
