With the permission of Japheth I am running a new weekly competition for the navy.
For those of you who attended Sunday's meeting, this is just a review of what the competition is. For those who didnt keep reading because I think all off you will be very interrested in this.
Every Friday night in #kaph I wil be hosting a gaming night for all navy pilots. It will use all star wars games plus a long list of other games that will be at the bottom of this. Pilots challenge each other to games and are scored on a ladder.
There is a twist though. Once a match is declared, I will set odds on the match and people have one minute to place bets. This is a great way for all of you to make some good money each week. In addition, at the end of the month, what ever money that still remains in the pot of profits that I have, I will disperse to people firstly by the number of games they played and secondly by their ladder rank.
Each month there is a 15k entrance fee for the competition, this is to cover prizes and winnings people make. The following people are exempt from paying this fee.
All flight school members (not Liquid and Bear though, you guys are rich so you can pay)
All newbies
One of the main purposes of this competition is to get you guys going in some fun MP gaming, but also to get the noobs into the games and allow them to meet many of the great members of the navy.
The competition will begin at 9pm AST (8pm EST) and will continue till between 12-1 AST (11-12 EST).
With the exception of strat games, all games are up to 10. Team games are allowed.

I will build a ladder site for this. For this friday, there will be no betting. This friday establishes ladder positions only. Good luck and have fun. -----------------------

Very nice idea. However I think the entrance fee is a bit much. I mean you shouldn't have to pay to play games. I personaly don't have enought money anyway, I'm not a rich Squadron Commander anymore. Anyway, I'll be there, but I doubt I will pay this week. Consider an idea to drop the entrance fee, I think it is rather silly to pay to play. That could be a determent and I'm sure you want everyone possible to participate. Well, there's my input. -----------------------

Whats that mean?
That means Japheth is gonna throw 15K ICs into the pot for every pilot that plays.

Ok bad news
When I announced the start of this comp I forgot I could not make it for this friday.
we have 2 options:
1. we cancel and start next week
2. someone records the games for me and i will post it on the ladder
since we are not betting this week the games are just for ladder position
if someone would plz record games that would be awesome
