The Raiders Squad sat in the lounge watching the holoscreen. The other squads in the Vast Empire were doing the same from their own lounges. One of the Vast Empire's ambassadors was announcing a new trade partnership with the Serapin system. Watching the VE Holonet special report, the room was silent as the ambassador began his speech...       "Greetings ladies and gentlemen...today marks a turning part in our empire's history.With this agreement we will-" Suddenly, the ambassador's voice cut off as a blaster shot was heard over the speakers. As he collapsed to the stage, several troopers in the lounge were quickly on their feet. Over the lounge's intercom the Army's Council was immediately called down to one of the meeting rooms. Meanwhile, The Raiders squad sat, staring at the screen.     ***A Few Minutes Later In The Meeting Room*** "We must find out what happened down there." Kadann announced, "we cannot work with them under these conditions. We must find the culprits." "I strongly agree, sir," Talon commented, "but how do we intend to find them. We have no leads and no ways of finding out who did it." As he finished, Talon's comm device buzzed. "Excuse me...this will just take a second," Talon announced to the officer's present..."Talon here." "Sir, there are three members of Raiders Squad are here requesting to see you...it's about the shooting." His secretary said. "What about it?" "They seem to know who did it." Blinking, Talon shifted in his seat. "Send them in."                 ***Half an Hour Later***" So you see, sir..." Otto pointed out for a second time. "After examining the point from which the shot hit...we examined the camera from the opposite angle." Pressing a couple buttons, the view screen shifted around before zooming in on one of the buildings in the backdrop. "There..." TJ said, pointing to one of the windows on the screen. In it, a soldier entered the camera's view, before quickly disappearing again into the shadows. Rewinding and zooming in. "There's our killer, gentlemen." "I don't believe it," Fury gaped. "Rizzit, Otto..." "Sir?" "Get your guys down there, find out who he's working for apprehend that culprits!" "Yes, sir." The Raiders saluted, and left the office.

Under Rizzit's command, Otto landed the ship. The ship slowly descended with a vertical approach to the surface. The landing gear came out, and finally landed. A platform lowered so the RAIDERS could disembark. "Man! It's hot here!" commented JR. "Who would want to negotiate agreements with this planet?" "Because it was a huge supply of resources to the old republic." TJ commented. "Before the empire, there were nova crystals, ore mines, and every resource you could name on this planet." Rizzit said, agreeing with TJ. "So why bother with the planet now? All those resouces are gone by now right?" "Not quite JR." said Otto."The miners and carbon collectors just stopped working here, negotiations are being made to get it started up again." "Ah, I understand. Thanks." JR said. Rizzit looked around, he had no idea where to begin. He and otto had to go do some planning, but first had to get an idea of the territory. "Okay Raiders, listen up. I need you all to scout the area, intelligence reports large lava pits that look like solid ground. Be very careful! I don't wanna see less come back then what I send out. I want you to split up into pairs. `Strider and Jed: you take one way. TJ and JR: you take the other. Otto and I will remain here planning the attack. Unfortunately the speeders cannot function under this heat, so you need to do this on foot. Good Luck!" said Rizzit as he saluted his squad. The Raiders, in turn, saluted and went off in seperate directions. Rizzit turned to Otto. "Well, let's go plan our course of action. This is not going to be easy." "Ya, at least the comm devices still work." "Ain't that the truth! Well, come with me. I have the AC on in the ship!" Rizzit said, and the two ran for the ship and closed the door.

As Rizzit was looking at the radar, he noticed two ships coming in on TJ, and JR’s side.  “Gentlemen you’ve got company,” Rizzit said to TJ, and JR.  “We see them...,” TJ replied. JR cut in, “Uh, Teej, Rizzit they just dropped something.” “Danm, they must have seen us come in,” said Otto as he was running into the communications center. “Quick everybody meet back at the ship, we’re gonna hunt us some bad guys” said Rizzit. “We copy,” came the voices of Strider, and Jed. ***An Hour Later at the Ship* ** “Alright everybody, let’s move,” Rizzit said, “I’ll go with TJ and JR.  Otto you go with strider and Jed.” “You heard the man,” yelled Otto, “Let’s bag us some bogies.”   ----------------------- TRP/PFC Jimmy Rock/3SQD/2PLT/1COM/1BAT/1RGT/VEA/VE[LoR] (sorry if this is bad but its my first story post)

JR looked at Rizzit and said, "Well, they came at us and we managed to get a couple but then they started to shoot so we ran for cover." "Luckly for us, they must have seen something else and ran into that canyon over ther." TJ said then pointed to a large canyon built into the rock. "O.K.," Rizzit replied, "but what exactly were they?" "Couldn't tell," TJ told Rizzit. All of a sudden a voice came in. "Come in Rizzit, TJ, and JR.  I repeat can you hear me."  The voice belonged to Otto. "We hear ya," Rizzit replied, "what is it?" "We need assitance quick...'Strider injured...ship...the way...*bzzzz*" "What just happened?" asked Rizzit. "Comunications are gone sir," answered JR, "somethings blocking them." "Than there can't be much time to lose.  Let's move."

OOC: 2 things Jed: 1) This isn't the PR, no cliff hangers with the dotted lines, if you're not going to post what you're seeing, post more like "and what he saw made him drop his jaw" 2) If you're going to make it look like you're going to tell us what you're seeing,  put what you're seeing!! But consult someone that would have a good idea of what you should put down as the secret power trooper guys first. _________________________________________________________     Otto ducked down as shrapnel of dirt and molten rock flew over the rock he was hiding behind. He as well didn't hear the standard cry of human death in the blast. He looked over his rock with a small mirror he carried in his belt. What he saw disturbed him very much. A small squad of supped up Rebel special forces, with blast resistant armour. Otto cursed under his breath as they opened fire on the rock that the3Djedi was now apparently hiding behind. He yelled into his headset with no avail, the communications were down. He went through the list of supplies that he had with him in his head. When he remembered his Mk II Anti-Vehicle Grenades. He pulled one out of his pack and activated it. Thinking again, he pulled out another anti vehicle grenade and activated it.   Using the Force to guide the grenades to their targets, Otto launched them over his head toward the Rebel Special Forces. He tapped Jed's mind for a moment to suggest bending down for cover as he did the same. The explosion from the grenades was very large, and just barely effective as Otto listened for muffled sounds of pain and death. He scanned the area that he last knew the Rebels to be with the Force, he sensed very little life in various places as the men were obviously dying. Suddenly he felt a presence coming towards him, apparenlty one of the Rebels had survived the explosion, and he was ready to attack.   Using his Jedi instinct, he ignited his lightsabre, jumped up and around, his lightsabre at the ready. What he saw disturbed him, and enlightened him. Infront of him stood one of the Rebels, half of his right side blown off, and a blaster in the left, behind him were body parts of the other troopers, one man was crawling towards Jed's posision, his legs missing, but blaster still in hand. They were going for this until the end, like the Rebel version of Raiders, that is what disturbed him. What enlightened him was the pain and death that sat before him, and the thought that he was about to add to it. He deflected the close range shot that came out from the dying man's blaster, which hit the man dead in the face. As the man staggered back, Otto pulled him forward onto his waiting blade.   After the man fell to the floor, he lifted the rock he was hiding behind and levitated it towards the man crawling towards Jed. When it reached the air above the man, Otto let go and it crushed the Rebel. The3Djedi hopped up, looked down at the man, looked to Otto and ran over.   "Let's get back to Rizzit," Otto said before Jed could say thanks Jed nodded and they ran back towards the ship

Jed mowed down a small group of wounded Rebels as he ran to catch up with Otto.  Looking up ahead he saw where their ship was...no one was there.  Otto proceeded to use the force to locate which direction Rizzit was and then sprinted off without saying a word.  They charged past the remains of several dead Rebels, and heard an explosion up ahead.  Lifing his blaster, Jed started to pick off Rebel troopers, while Otto ignited his saber and charged through the smoke to find Rizzit, JR, and TJ. Before he got far, Rizz, JR, and TJ emerged from the smoke.  JR was limping a bit, but other than that there weren't any other injuries. "JR, are you OK?" Jed trotted up. "Yeah, I'm fine." JR winced. "We gotta get back to the ship and get you fixed up." Rizzit said, glancing around for anything Rebel. "Let's move guys!" "Roger!" TJ said, falling into stride with the SL.  Jed and Otto helped JR get up, and after seeing that he could walk ok, let him go. "Keep an extra sharp eye out for ANYTHING men, and keep your blasters ready..." Rizzit said. Jedn glanced around, and looked up.  "LOOK OUT!" he yelled.  Several heat-seeking missiles were coming straigh for the small group of Raiders.  The five men dove out of the way as the missiles hit the ground.  10 seconds and six craters later they picked themselves up. "Whoa, that was close!"  Otto exclaimed. "Yeah, I don't wanna get git by one of those!" TJ remarked. "We'll have to watch our backs from now on. Jed: that was quick thinking. TJ and Otto were almost at the ship.  When they entered Otto took JR to the living quarters as TJ ran to the communications center to send out a message. “Attention, imperial medical bay.  We have a man down and we request assistance.”  TJ waited but there was no reply.  Than it hit him the communications were down, he ran to the living quarters to report to Otto.  As he rounded the corner the sight made him gasp.  There was blood all over JR’s right leg, and it was now covering Otto’s hand. “How bad is it?” TJ asked. “Not very,” Otto replied, “It’s only a broken leg and I’ve gotten it to stop bleeding.  I’ve also eased the pain a little, how long till assistance?” “There not coming, the rebels are jamming our transmissions so we have to take out the jammer.” TJ and Otto looked at each other, until Otto spoke. “I’ll do it.” Otto replied, and he ran to the emergency shuttle. “Good luck,” TJ replied as he made a crude splint out of a chair and an old uniform   ----------------------- TRP/PFC Jimmy Rock/3SQD/2PLT/1COM/1BAT/1RGT/VEA/VE[LoR]
