Just like in UK with "Smoking damages youre health. This can lead to heart desease, Lung cancer etc...." placed on all smoking adverts of any kind and the packet its self. I mean everyone knows smoking is bad for you. -----------------------

Actually Sheepy, there's a great deal of people that don't know that smoking can damage your health. Cigarette manufacturers testified before Congress that they didn't know this. |

Like back when I still smoked, I tried really hard only to smoke from packs that had warnings that smoking would be harmful to someone that was pregnant. That way, I figured I would be okay

here is the Air prolly better then in the most Places from America, we set highly on rules to secure the Nature.
Even our factorys get huge "Filters" to clean the smoke before it wents out into the fresh Air.
Sure, we have Places where the Air isnt very clean, but when i remember right, then i have read in the Newspaper a while ago, that Germany gives the most money out to prepare the factorys to secure the Nature 
oh btw, is FCKW still alowed over there or not?

Not sure what the FCKW is, but I bet it's condemned by the Republican Party, Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, the Boy Scouts, and - of course - your friends at the Recording Industry Association of America. It just sounds dirty.
As for pollution, we here in the US are just now realizing that poisoning your population is a BAD thing. So we are a little late to the party. But most cities aren't too bad.
Our old solution was to keep heavy industry in the northern part of the nation, build huge smokestacks and left the wind carry it over to Canada.
Eventually they figured that out when all their trees started dying.
Yet another reason the Canucks don't care for us much.
Our new policy seems to be building factories in Mexico and building really, really short smokestacks that keep it polluted there. Eventually we'll accidentally pollute Texas (now THAT's redundant) and have to move the factories elsewhere.

Yup, despite the fact the European cities smell of smokers their factories and stuff are very clean. Here in the US, with Bush(who goes with the Republican idea that trees cause pollution...), I don't look forward to any real change... -----------------------
