Stormtroopers may not be able to hit the broadside of a barn, but they're still a lot more threatening than a space-faring Abraham Lincoln. 6. In Star Wars, all chicks are fair game. Heck, even your sister. 5. Han Solo never had to degrade himself by shooting a baggy-suited reptilian alien with a hollow log and some charcoal. 4. You can safely wear a red shirt in Star Wars. 3. Luke Skywalker could kick Wesley Crusher's ass with one hand behind his back. Hell, Luke's cut-off hand could kick Wesley's ass with itself tied behind its back. 2. Top Ten Ways Darth Vader Kicks Ass Over General Chang 10.) Doesn't need a cloaking device to hide himself or his ship 9.) Has a lightsaber, and could have easily just lopped Kirk's head off at the end of the meeting. 8.) Doesn't recite lines from crappy shakespeare movies. 7.) He's basically his own boss, he only answers to Palpatine, who doesn't really care what he does as long as it's against the Rebellion 6.)He has his own specially modified TIE Fighter, Chang has a crappy Bird of Prey which has no manuverability and is outgunned by the Enterprise. 5.)Vader doesn't need a weapons officer to fire his lasers. 4.)Vader doesn't wait like a dork when he needs to find someone. HE GOES OUT AND FINDS THEM HIMSELF. 3.) Vader doesn't have others assassinate people. He just force grips them himself. 2.) Vader can command any ship he likes. Chang has to ask the Klingon Government. 1.) And finally, the number one reason Vader is better than Chang: He's taller and his clothes are cooler without that stupid eyepatch :P

Well sorry if this isn't Geist, but here's my side of the story *wink wink* TOP (-)TEN REASONS WHY STARTREK IS JUST AS GOOD AS STARWARS! 10. They are both Space-based, which is very similar. 9. In StarTrek, when you're in trouble and you don't know how to use the Force, a Transporter Beam usually comes in handy. 8. You don't have to have a walkie-talkie to talk to your motherships, all you have to do is press your Faction Insignia and speak whenever and whatever you want. 7. Phasers are just as good or better than StarWars Blasters becase: 1) they don't have one foot long blasters that will probably miss the enemy.  2) Phasers are just one long thin beam of pure laser and have two capabilities: Stun and Kill 8. Romulans have pointy ears and Darth Maul doesn't 7. Klingons don't need to hide behind a mask to show how cool their Face/Forehead looks. 6. Battles don't take as long. You can just assimilate your enemy. 5. Our warships don't just have pure lasers, we also have Photon Torpedos (option: Full Spread) 4. We HAVE Cloaked vessels. 3. Hyperspace=Warp Drive 2. StarTrek has realistic holograms that actually look like humans and can pass for them. 1. Seven of Nine beats a Jabba the Hutt Twin Sister Dancer any day. 0. We can upgrade our shields and weapons -1. We have better Sayings: "Live Long and Proster" is better than "Halt!" -2. StarTrek can be very humerous: Death Situation - "When one accepts the inevitable...he feels a sense of peace."  "Heh! I'll stick with 'Live Long and Proster'." -3. Borg are more powerful than Rebels (but who isn't?) -4. "Efficient" = "Impressive" -5. StarTrek has good philosophy: "The good of the Many outweights the good of the One." -6. Compared -5 to: "I won't make another mistake, Lord Vader. I - *choke choke choke...dead*" -7. Our Treaties with Trading groups don't become hostile against the Trader. -8. A couple Feringi are just as smart as Jawas -9. When worst comes to worst, we can always count on Scotty to beam us out! I like Star Trek.  I agree with Riel that Star Wars and Star Trek are not even in the same league.  Star Trek pales in comparison to Star Wars, but Star Trek is entertaining at least . . . sometimes.  Only two official TV channels on late at night in southeastern Alaska though and I have the choice of watching "Oprah" or ST:OT/ST:TNG.  Tough choice, huh? :P

Well, a big good point about ST is that it's on every night! (mostly) and it takes 2 years for just 1 SW movie to come out :P  Anyway, the Federation has fighters too
