No one has sent you anything? Well, that is a problem, isn't it? Although I must admit that almost the entire training staff is out for this weekend or so, a major inconvenience.
Allow me to welcome you to the Imperial Fleet. I am Rear Admiral Japheth Cappadocious, Executive Officer. I do hope that you enjoy your time here.
As far as what we do? Well, lots. As you noticed with the comp we're trying to get going there is a multiplayer gaming aspect, as well as a very, very strong ongoing story component, which is written in the form of run-ons. Most of the squadron's have a run-on going on right now and we're all greatly anticipating the begining of Chapter 8 of the series of Vast Empire large-scale run-ons.
In the meantime take an opporunity to vaguely familiarize yourself with some of our REALLY outdated manual as well as possibly take the =A= exam on the website. Hop into IRC and meet all the crazy, crazy people we keep around for some.... unfathomable reason. Of course, now people will post wondering why they keep me around, but hey, ce la vie, or whatever, right? I never did have French....
We all joke around a lot, but its all in good fun, I'm not offended by most of it anymore. :P
Anyway, rant rant rant, thats me at 3:15 am for you. :P -----------------------

Hopefully I can get into the squadrons soon. Itchin' for some stuff.
I've met a couple of pilots in the main channel. Havin' fun so far. Got a gut feeling I'll have fun here.

Where is Darkhawk...?!
I took the liberty to add Xantos to the Flight School as a Crewman. I also added Arthur Corleone, again as a Crewman. I've also put CRW Mario and CRW Giraffe on the FS AWOL list (see the roster).
If Darkhawk is going to disappear, he could at least tell me. He's probably told Liquid.. who is on leave.
Do you realise Liquid constitutes 50% of the Academy staff? Intresting fact.. -----------------------

Perhaps the Navy's XO should take over the duties of TO until Darkhawk comes back. That's what we do in the Army anyway. If I'm on leave, then Fury pretty much takes over my duties until I return. I think the Navy should consider something similar to that, because from what I've seen, when DH is on leave, your Academy comes to a grinding halt. Of course, there's that other option that dangles right in front of us: Liquid. Liquid is the TO's assistance, I believe. Perhaps he should be the one welcoming new pilots until DH returns?
Anyway, welcome aboard Xanatos! I'm ex-Warrant Officer 2nd Class Tarkin.  Now I'm just Major Dawk "Cosmic" Rhonaey, Commander of Training for the Army. Activity and getting invovled are the keys to climbing the ladder of success here. Do some hard work. It'll pay off.

I think this whole problem arose because all three of us (Bear, Liquid, myself) were at leave at the same time. Anyhoo, I have been back for quite some time now. I was simply unaware that Xanatos was having a problem. I guess I need to brush up on my "reading for conent". 
Anyway, Xanatos, you need to go to navy.vastempire.com/academy and take your Aviator's Exam. If you have any questions, ask Liquid, since he's Bear's assistant. -----------------------
