The hell is everyone?

I'm in roughly the same boat. I'm very slow at work, yet everything seems to happen right towards the end of the day and often pushes days to 10+ hours, even if everything should be wrapped up by lunch time. Additionally I'd been dealing with working a second job, however, that looks like it might be coming to an end soon as my wife seems to have a job lined up, although I don't want to speak too soon.

Like Amacuse said though, it can be tough to get a post up when you're constantly trying to get caught up with the story and weeding out which posts affect what you're about to write. Don't get me wrong, it's great to see so many people posting, but it can be overwhelming for someone who can't catch up on the story every evening or every other evening.

If my input is at all helpful...

One of the things I find helps is to just accept that you don't need to do "summary writing". It's totally ok to assume where your character is and ignore details up to that point. That way you just write in the moment. For example, Trevor can already be in a TIE flying over Lotaith and just go from the more recent posts regarding the ground troops. It feels a lot less overwhelming.

Another thing to note is that posts don't have to be really long. If you only have time to establish something in 200 words, then go for it. Better to post small bits than not at all and feel even more like you're behind.

I say all of this as someone who has dealt/is dealing with the same kind of thing. Ultimately I think we're ok with a little bit of vagueness if it means you can get in and write with others. What has also helped me is asking ppl to write my character in so that I know where Makenna is and can jump in quickly rather than reading every detail.

I hope any of that is helpful. I'm sorry work has been crazy :/

I'll do my best not to eat ALL the cookiees, but if it's ok with everyone, I'll jump onto the Squadron story once I've gotten my bearings. Best to get my character started at the beginning of the story so I seem to have picked an opportune time to be here.
