So I bought this program on Steam for about $10 which is geared for story-writing and storyboarding. Haven't played around with it enough, but thought I'll put it out here for anyone looking for a decent processor.
I'm always on the go, bouncing between 2-4 computers easily, and it's a mission to try and drag up my drafts and notes, they have cloud storage.
I'm a bit concerned about some of the Intellectual Property issues when you use the cloud, but for the VE, I don't feel it\'s a problem as the IP belongs to Disney in any case right?

Looks interesting, been having a glance through. Any further comments on it? Would you recommend it?
I use Scrivener myself, picked it up cheap after Nanonwrimo. This programme seems better for your needs though with the cloud storage. It definitely is better than saving it in your email drafts which is what I used to do!

I actually used scrivener, but completely forgot about it!
It's too early to say so far, Ive only worked on it for a few hours. So far, it definitely has awesome features without being to bulky. Will post again once I'm more familiar with it.

Never heard of Nimble Writer, but I've been using Scrivener for a year or two. I recommend it highly!

Nifty. I may check it out. Although, I'm still quite partial to Notepad++ and Vim.

So far I've always just used Word or Google Docs. But then I've pretty much always only done short-form writing. I'll probably check one of these out when I go to write something long enough to need a real storyboard.

Yeah Drac: for individual, short pieces, google docs has been amazing. The ability to work on stuff from mobile, and access it anywhere, has been great.
But for longer pieces, where you need to organize sub-parts, Scrivener is game-changing. I shudder to think of how people wrote novels, in the interregnum between the advent of word processors and computers, and the development of Scrivener. It just streamlines the process so much.

Yeah, for anything consisting of multiple parts int the 2k+ range each, Scrivener is amazing. I just use a standard open office document for short stories and posts. I used to use Google docs, buy there was something I needed to do with the formatting that I couldn't do, it was awhile ago so o can't remember what exactly it was. Might have been headers related because they're always an unreasonable pain.
