•    Physical Description
Elric Shadowheart has a cropped, military haircut. He has brown hair and green eyes. He is short, with a small, but fit build. His torso, arms and legs are slim and toned. He wears tight shirts and loose pants. He often needs a belt to keep them around his waist. Elric wears combat boots even while off duty.

•    Personality
Elric has been downed his entire life, due to his shortness. Over time, he got fed up with this and now does everything he can to prove his worth. His height causes him to take quicker steps than most, in an effort to keep up. As an after effect of his spice days, Elric is slightly schizophrenic and suffers from the occasionial hallucination. But he manages to keep it under control just enough to be functional. He is ambitious, loyal, hard-working, dedicated, quick learning, and intelligent. Some may say he’s too intelligent for his own good. His arrogance occasionally leaks out, but he’s not aware of it. Elric does his best to make people laugh, but his jokes are either hit or miss. 50% of the time he’s funny. The other 50%, he’s not. On occasion, Elric can be a charismatic leader.

•    Character’s Background

Elric was born on Naboo. Growing up, he was often teased by his height. This motivated him to succeed, to show his superiority. At the age of 18, he snuck off to Carida, to train. There, he met a young, human woman named Arana. Over time, they fell in love. After 3 weeks of courting secretly, Arana (who had finished basic training) was to be assigned to Thrawn’s fleet. Not wanting to be separated, she and Elric snuck aboard a supply ship. They fled to Nar Shadaa. For two years they lived there, doing whatever work they could find to make credits. They weren’t the richest denizens on the planet, but they survived.

One day, Elric returned home from a spice deal gig. He had served as a bodyguard to the salesman. To his horror, he’d found Arana dead on the couch. She’d been murdered and their small apartment had been ransacked.  Desolate with grief, he held an informal funeral for her. Few people attended, for they had few friends. Elric turned to spice for comfort. For an entire year, he stayed high. He committed crimes with impudence, not caring about consequences. He just wanted credits for more spice. One day during these dark times, he saw a recruitment vid from the Vast Empire. After seeing it, he decided it was time to get his life together and move on. So, he checked into a rehab, where he stayed for 6 months. Once released, he took a transport shuttle to the Vast Empire’s Naval Academy and applied for Fleet School.

Overall it looks pretty good just a couple things before you move on.

1. The physical description could use a couple more sentences of detail. Maybe add some things like how his clothing fits because of how short he is or the way he walks. Try to tie it in a bit more with personality.
2. I think the personality description is decent though I'd like a couple more references from history in here. Nothing too much but maybe just some details about how his history has affected his personality overall (such as how he was addicted to spice for so long).

Other than just a couple small things, I find this bio to be fairly well-rounded. Add those details, create an ID line and a wiki page, and we'll get you moving to chapter 2

Hey, wiki coding is a bit weird. Even I still don't know much beyond text-entering basics. And as you go on your page will evolve anyway.

That said, you have all the basic info there and your ID line and bio are good so we can move you on to chapter 2! Write a post for Loyalty, Honor, Courage as described in the Chapter 2 link and we'll move you to the last phase.

Some things to note for posting. The first post in the thread outlines the objective. All consecutive posts are from trainees and hence do not have to be referenced. However I do suggest reading at least a couple of them for inspiration and to see how others went through the given situation.

Take the time you need to write. Quality is always preferred to quantity (though you might see a couple of us sometimes get into word count battles... >.>). And while I love that you're researching everything don't fret too much if you don't have every little detail. As with any kind of writing, the more you write the better you'll become.

I will pass your for that post, however I do want to say that I am doing so as it meets the minimum requirements. Your writing is actually really clear, which I love, and I see a lot of potential there for expanding even more. From here on out, I'd like to see you put more detail into your writing. Pay attention to descriptions and the full story aspect of a post. Each one, even if it is short, should have a good flow from beginning, middle, and end. Your character also gave up in this sim without much of a fight, but what were all his internal emotions? What else can you add to bring your character to life more? I know writing navy is new, so it'll take some time to fit in. Once again, your post was written very well, and as an author once taught me, it is better to be clear than clever. That is why I feel you are ok to head on.
