Now, before you celebrate, i'm just leaving for 2 weeks. look for me the 1st of 2nd of July. Boston for a week then DC for a week. in the course of 24 hours i'm gonna ride in a car for about 16 of them. c ya all. -----------------------

Boston!!!
Do NOT use a car. Its way too aggravating and pedestrians like me don't care whether the light is green or red.
Its much better to use the MBTA (the "T"). Sure it costs $1.00 per ride per person, but its a fast and easy way to get around Boston (well...using the Green Line...to get there, take the Red Line to Park St. exit and go to the right and follow the signs; make sure to check which trolleys go where [to get to Haymarket, you can take any trolley except the "E" trolley, etc.]).
Should've given me some warning! -----------------------

When you take the T though, you don't have to park. On top of that, you get there MUCH faster. Best idea is to take the commuter rail into boston (Maybe 15-30 mins) and then take the subway. Not a bad deal and all under $10. -----------------------

Plus you don't have to pay exhorbitant parking rates (many places are $16/day...one place was $352/month, and another was $20/HOUR).
"Cheers" was unfortunately closed a while ago. I did get the glass/mug they were passing out on the day that they shut down.

i saw the outside of the Cheers. i'm also back, incase you didn't notice. personally DC had a better Metro than Boston did T, but i only took the T once, i was with a church group -----------------------
