I've been made aware of some people whining when the Code of Conduct was enforced. Guess what I'm going to say about it.... DEAL! People whine at us when it's not enforced, but complain when it is. Make up your minds. Or here's an idea.. Let's just let things turn to absolute chaos. Sounds great, doesn't it? Anyone can say anything about you whenever they want or do whatever they want in the channel. Now, when people complain about not being warned before a kick, I look at how long they've been a member and how many times they've had to be warned in the past. I'm starting to take the CoC's mention of warning to mean the first time someone sets foot in the channel and curses once. We warn, letting you know we keep things semi-clean. If they curse three days later, we kick. That's how I'm going to run things from now on and I suggest that other ops do the same. That brings me to another point. People who scream "TALON, KICK HIM!" in the main channel will get the exact same treatment. Send your concerns in a private message if you want someone kicked for some reason. I'm not always paying attention to the main channel, mostly because people complain at me when I'm there. I also want to see the same respect to officers we have on ComNet within the IRC channel. People tend to follow the CoC on ComNet more because it's a little more public and it's in writing. Well, I'm going back to the zero tollerance. Curse.. kicked. Be disrespecful.. kicked. One last suggestion. Just enforce the thing and be done with it. People can get used to anything, and this isn't that out of the way for us

Talon has a point here and I understand were he is coming from. I read and follow the rules very carefully, and I am very patient about all of it. The rules should be enforced and there should be no complaint about it.
