Physical Description
Darian Rogue has oval shaped eyelids inside of which are dark black eyes. He has straight black hair, tan skin, and a hooked nose. Normal sized all his life, he is now 5 feet 10 inches tall. He weighs an average 172 pounds, with those pounds being evenly distributed among fat and muscle.

Personality
To say Darian Rogue is, was, or will be a bully is a complete and total lie. He is a friendly man that can be trusted and counted on. However, just because he is nice doesn't mean he is not strict, and he plans to be just that when and if he becomes a higher ranking officer in the Navy. And of course, he will fight the enemy, as he is only nice around those he likes. Around others he is very calm and collected, and loves to engage in social activity when possible. However, he has no sense of humor when it comes to unnecessary jokes that make no sense. Lastly, he is selfless, and will sacrifice his life to save another, which will sometimes lead to too much bravery.

History

Note: This first paragraph is a slightly different version of the one I originally wrote for Flight School way back when, so it will be of slightly lesser quality. The second paragraph was added during my time here, and the last sentence was added now. The last paragraph was also written now to expand on the first two.

The following are the events that led to Darian joining the Navy:

Darian Rogue was always looking for a way to get into the Empire, to be able to work in it. The Empire, even though the Emperor was dead, was still the largest faction out there. He found out that many soldiers were needed in both the army and the navy, so immediately headed for Abrae. There they informed him that he had no choice of the army or the navy at that moment, and to come back later if he wanted to pick. He stayed, and they put him into the Navy. He was then given the items in the items section. He got through basic training and was assigned as Nazgul 2-4.

Darian left for personal reasons but then came back as Nazgul 1-4. Then he left again for more personal reasons but then came back as Rhegent's Reign Gamma-2. He was also part of Tuk'ata at one point and he is now going through a refresher course at the Naval Academy before being reassigned once more.

Among his reasons for joining the Empire are the fact that a strong and powerful entity attracted him, as well as that, since the Emperor's death, they had become increasingly more tolerant towards non-humans and to women, a facet Darian found, despite neither of those words describing him, admirable. As to his reasons for randomly taking leaves and putting himself into the reserves, that has to do with family problems back on his home planet of Bakura. Since Bakura is pretty far away, his trips can be time consuming, and he tries to stay for as long as necessary if he suspects more problems will arise. Now, hopefully, most problems are solved.

One thing I'd like to point out, though: The Vast Empire is not headquartered on Coruscant... please adjust that little detail in the bio.  Perhaps you went to Imperial Center (Coruscant) first, and then sought out another Imperial faction that was hiring?  Or else you came to us first.

Looks great, DarianRogue.  In response to your OOC note:
1.) Your first time back after a long leave of absence is actually the PERFECT place for some character development, so don't apologize for starting your post with that.  I thought it was very effective as an introduction.
2.) Cynicism was good to establish character.
3.) The section in which you destroy the 5 enemies might have benefited from more detail with specific maneuvers and such, but you've been through flight school before.  I'm confident you know how to write aerospace dogfights in more detail.
4.) I think you probably missed an opportunity, right at the end, to give us more insight into your character.  He just found out more than half of the simulated kills were friendlies... how does he feel about that?

Those are my specific notes, but in general, this was more than enough to convince me you're fit to write again for the VEN.  Now, prove you still remember how to report in an active squadron (read Chapter 3 of Flight School, then report to me via PM and post a copy of that report here for reference as well), and we'll get you placed and into the current fleet story!  You're clear to move to the last Chapter of Flight School!
