Okay, I think I've spotted another "unwritten rule" that could stand to be codified: what's the party line on multiple characters in the same division belonging to a single member?  Can you have two characters in the Navy at the same time?  Can you have two characters in the Army at the same time?  It's not terribly relevant for newcomers, but it IS one of these nebulous things that seem taboo without being actually set down in writing anywhere, at least not where I can find it.

another 'unwritten' rule is that those 'unwritten' rules can be overruled by the current division chief. which it has.

This is one we should probably write down as: "no more than one character per division without relevant HC permission" as I can foresee situations where the N/AHC would permit it

I know people on both sides have done some good work on timelines now.

Sorry to revive a thoroughly deceased thread, but I thought there would be enough interest in this to merit the revival: I made a new wiki splash page, that explains what the VE is, OOC and IC.  You can see it here.  I can't keep working on it right now, because I have dinner plans, but you should get the idea.  I think we can INCLUDE on that page a link to character creation guidelines, flagged for new recruits, rather than trying to explain the whole club ON the character creation guidelines page.  And then from the guidelines page, we can link them on further to the VEN or the Stromtroopers Corps.

I can't even think of anything to add to it, I'm still in shock from the awesome. I know that a link to this should be on the main page though, like top front and center.

personally, I love the pictures. They are not over-sized and it helps people like me that work better with a tangible visual image to work off of. I even like the formatting of the maps at the bottom. Its frankly a good resource even for many of our current members, I'd even like to see a section that gives a brief summary of the chapter stories we've done so far.




Also pictures of naked Lucy Lawless in my bedroom...would be priceless....
