Luckily, the squad had found the new set of advanced stormtrooper helmets. Everyone flicked their eyepieces on simulateneously. "Jed, go with Strider and search the northern perimeter, look for any suspicious activity. Otto, you come with me. Shadow, go with Cloud, check the western fences. Teege, I need you to cover Dee while he makes his rounds around the crater area.", said Rizzit in a hurriedly manner. "Guess they just tracked my computer down.", said D-13. The squad agreed and went their seperate ways. TJ set up on the roof of the watch tower and watched everyone patrol. He spotted a young man with a slicer computer hacking away at the wiring. "Hey you! Freeze, you rebel scum!", he shouted. The man dropped his computer and pulled out a blaster. Luckily, TJ got him first. He moaned and fell to the ground, bleeding severely. Dee came back from his rounds and handcuffed the rebel slicer. The rest of the RAIDERS came back. They took him to the holding room and locked it with a barricade, since the power was still out. Cloud picked up the slicer computer and began typing away at the endless line of code. Dee joined in with an extra keyboard. Meanwhile, Otto paced around the front of the cell. "Ok you, where did you come from, and why are you here?", snapped Rizzit. "Uh uh, I ain't talking.", the man said in a huff. Rizz snapped his fingers and Strider found a torture droid box. They read the instructions and detached it. The droid floated quietly to the man with a hypodermic needle and soon the hallways were alive with blood-curdling screams. The lights flickered on suddenly and Cloud clapped a Hi-5 with Dee. Suddenly a Rebel transport landed. Rebel troops began to file out of the ship and charge at the 3 RAIDERS. Rizzit turned quickly to Cloud. "Cloud, shutdown that computer now." he yelled. Cloud didn't budge. He was in another trans, and something needed to be done. Shadow walked over and shut off the computer. "Thanks Shadow." said Rizz. Cloud came out of the trans after the computer was shut down. "Huh? What happened?" he asked. "Nevermind that now, we got bigger problems to deal with." said Rizzit as he ignited his lightstaff so that it looked like a saber. Rizzit tossed Cloud a com-link."Here. Call Otto Vox. Tell him to get the rest of the Squad out here. Shadow, I need backup till they all get here. Cloud, when you're done: join him." he said. Rizzit went on to engage the Rebels, while Shadow fired from afar. Cloud however, made a call on the com-link. The Rebels were countless, it seemed as if there was going to be another Clone War right outside the RAIDERS Base. The crossfire was unending. There was not a spot that was left where one would be safe. "This is Cloud calling Otto Vox, do you copy?" Cloud said over the com-link. ".............................." "This is Cloud! Otto are you there?" ".............................." "OTTO! GOD DAMN! IF THIS IS A JOKE, I AM SO GOING TO KILL YOU! ARE YOU THERE?" "..............Cloud, I am here. Com-link is going, but what's happening?"Otto asked. "FINALLY! Well, we are getting ambushed, and Rizz is engaging the Rebel troops with Shadow. Rizz told me to contact you on his com-link." "Ah, I see now. I will gather the rest of the squad, and we will be joining you soon." "Great, signing off!" Cloud put away the com-link with intentions of giving it to Rizzit later. He then proceeded to join the fight from Shadow's distance. About a half an hour later, during what seemed to be a perpetual fight, five laser blasts came from behind the small group of three.  Rizzit immediately turned around to check if more Rebels were coming. When he turned around, he saw the pleasant sight of Otto, `Strider, `TJ, Jed, and Dee. As usual, Otto and Dee were going about their usual bickering. Rizzit was becoming irritated. "ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!" he bellowed. "YOU TWO HAVE TO STOP THIS. Otto, I am glad to see you brought backup, but you need to get along with everyone--Including Dee." "I'll try." "Good. Now `Strider, I need you to do some Sniping. `TJ, assist me in some saber action. The rest of you:Blast 'em to bits!" Rizzit ordered. The Squad gave a nod, and joined Shadow and Cloud in engaging the troops. Everyone fought with all of their will. As each rebel was struck down by laser fire, another shuttle landed. The entire plain was filled with smoke, fire, ash, and bodies. The rebel lines were seemingly endless. Dee had his blasters blown by direct laser fire. They're sending their elite in, he thought. He thought for a moment and went inside to the walker garage. An AT-PT powered up and walked outside. The RAIDERS spotted a walker on the northeast side of the base, picking off shuttles as they landed. "Must be Dee, everyone else is accounted for.", said TJ, with yet another deflection. "Well, at least the walkers are working, need a hand?", said Dee on the comlink. A few laser bolts did manage to penetrate the armored walls of the bunkers and shut down the auto turrets. Cloud groaned, as his work was busted all around him. Rizz noticed one section of the line was moving forward into a running pace. "Heads up! They're charging!", he shouted. Dee struggled with the controls as a quarter of the laser fire was directed at him now. Flak bursted all round him. The hydraulics light went out. He was a sitting duck. He squeezed off one final shot before bailing out. Dee was unarmed, yet the rebels continued firing. Otto noticed this and ordered Strider to provide covering fire. "Yes! I said, provide covering fire for Dee! He's unarmed!" Dee tripped on a small pothole and almost fell victim to an artillery blast. He noticed some blood stained on his chest plate and checked himself. His left arm was cut badly by shrapnel. Then, another artillery blast flew over his head, nearly decapitating the trooper. He seized a vibrobayonet from his fried stormtrooper blaster and gripped it tight. This was the worst battle of his life to date. The young corporal was not determined to die, and made his way back to the RAIDER's position. On another front, Rizz and Teege were falling back. The rebel's firepower was greatly intensified now that the heavy artillery was brought down. Jed emptied clip after clip after clip at the enemy. All was almost lost, the base was falling apart until the RAIDERS could somehow get some backup.........

OOC: Well, since nobody bothered to post today, I guess I'll fullfill Rizzit's order again The Raiders were in luck, the ISD Dominion was tracking some mysterious signals from the rebel shuttles and dropped by to investigate. "Bearing 2-0-5, I want a complete scan of the system, this is the RAIDER's home planet, is it not?", said the captain. "Yes sir.", said a crew member. Meanwhile, back on the planet, the rebels were gaining huge chunks of ground. The field was littered with dead and dying soldiers. D-13 had just managed to slip back to the RAIDERs before fainting from massive blood loss. Shadow, who was nearest, jumped right into the line of fire and dragged Dee out of there. Dee opened his eyes to find the rest of the RAIDERs looking at him. An explosion cut off the little staring session. He drifted back into unconciousness. "Get back here,! Dee will live, now help us fight!", shouted Rizzit. The comlink had some static, then the Dominion came online, "This is the Dominion, RAIDERs, do you copy?" Everyone grinned. "We read you loud and clear, would you be so kind as to send us some reinforcements?", said Otto eagerly. "We will send 10 squads down." Before long, landing craft descended on the base's landing zone. Stormtroopers poured out by the dozens and rushed the persistant rebels. The tide was beginning to turn, especially when the RAIDERs were leading the charge. Well, at least until 4 jedi knights stepped out of a shuttle......

Meanwhile, from his Sniping position, Strider was getting most of his shots turned back at him. "DAMNED!" he yelled over the Comlink. "Sir, these guys are good whoever they are. The Jedi are bouncing back almost everything I shoot at. I think I'm gonna go for some of the troopers instead, that oughta keep them off..." just then Strider's communication was cut off. One of the Jedi had found him! I'm toast if I don't think of something fast.. thought the young soldier. Strider pulled out his Vibroblades, he was going to have to do the best he could. Though Strider was nowhere near the master swordsman his brother in law was with a lightsaber, he was quite good with his Vibroblades. Strider blocked as many of the Jedi's strikes as he could. Rizzit felt his plight through the force and came to help. "Looks like you could use a little assistance there, Strider" he said. "Yeah, thanks sir" Strider said.

OOC: I hope you don't mind this slight comical relief. Otto and Rizz walked side by side to the cells where the three hackers were supposed to be laying in their cells. Instead, as Otto walked in first, they were all bouncing sacks onto the walls and bouncing them back up with their feet. Otto reached out with the Force and pulled the sacks to him and cut them open with his viroblade, while watching the beads fall to the ground.   "There will be no hacking in this compound you Rebel scum." He sneered through gritted teeth. "Aww, we were just trying to keep ourselves occupied until our obvious executions" replied a very courageous hacker.   "Occupy yourselves? Occupy yourselves?! Twiddle your thumbs to occupy yourselves. I dont care if....." "Otto, calm down," inturpupted Rizzit as he turned to the Rebels "Now yes, there will be no hacking, either of those sacks or of our systems. And speaking of hacking our systems, what were you looking for, and who gave you your orders?" "We're under strict orders to with hold that information." replied the one with the guts.   "You," said Otto as he pointed at the man, "I want your name." "I am Daggoth Duke."   "Well Daggoth," said Rizzit before Otto could go off on the man, "it appears that if you do not tell us why you are here, you will die, but before then you will watch your men die before you." Just then, the rest of the Raiders walked in."   "Aaa good," continued Rizz, "Teej, Shadow, take those two to the chamber. Dagg, you come with the rest of us and watch." As they reached the chamber, Shad and Teej threw the two other Rebels into seperate restrainer chairs. As they walked into the viewing room, Otto pushed the "engage" button and two spindley arms came down from the cieling and opened up their ends. Two object procured from the ends and the arms moved forward towards the Rebels. Just as the arms reached their targets, the two objects came into full view and took into their torture. One Rebel cried out as he realized what the objects were. "No!!! Not feathers!!!! I'm extremely ticklish!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Shadow hurried away from the prison block, eager to rid of himself both of the Rebel presence and the company of his fellow soliders. He had grown more sociable over the past few months, but that still didn't mean that he liked being around the other for this long a period of time. It would be good to get back to his quarters and take a little break before something else came up. That battle with the Rebels had been over almost as soon as it started, despite their overwhelming numbers. Of course, there was no doubt that the Raiders all would have been wiped out if not for the Dominion's timely arrival. Obviously the ship's hyperdrive had been repaired way ahead of schedule. Shadow smiled as he thought back on the battle. Seeing Otto and Dee wield those lightsabres was the funniest thing he had seen in a long time. Otto pretended that he was some kind of master swordsman, but Shadow knew the Jedi-in-training wouldn't have lasted five seconds against one of those Rebel Jedi. Luckily, Dee and Otto were only up against the last remnants of the Rebel force by the time Rizz had tossed them those sabres. Maybe Shadow would call those two down to the workout gym a little later on and drill them through some sword techniques. In this modern age of blasters and the like few soldiers had any kind of knowledge with swords, but those skills could come in handy every now and then. Especially when you were preparing to become a Dark Jedi like Otto. Vox was continually bragging about his practice lightsabre, but obviously whoever was instructing him on its use didn't know what they were doing. Either that, or the younger man was extremely overconfident. It wasn't that he was bad with the sabre, but some of his forms definitely needed work. Shadow would feel decimated if Otto were to get cleaved in two because he was out of form for a duel with a Jedi. Really, it wasn't his place to interfere with Dark Jedi business. Perhaps he'd just better practice with D-13 instead. If Otto wanted to go out and get himself cut in two, maybe it would teach him a lesson. Shadow busted out laughing in mid-stride. One of the soldiers from another squad who had come with the Dominion, Raziel, widened the distance between them in the hallway. Weirdo, Raz thought, hurrying to get away from the darkly clad trooper. Colonel Devonshire studied the readouts in front of him for the umpteenth time. His men should've wiped that Imperial base out without a problem, and yet they had been quickly routed, every last soldier killed or captured. The higher ups on Coruscant would not be pleased at all when he submitted his report. Still, everything was not lost. That last attack could be taken as a kind of probe. After all, the Rebel commander still had several thousand troops at his command. He hadn't even sent any air support with that last attack. Well, next time would be different. The Imperials had received reinforcements, but Devonshire was sure they couldn't  number more than a hundred men and women. He had twenty times that number of troops stationed aboard the cruiser Diligence, along with three squadrons of X-Wings and Y-Wings. The opposition had managed to wipe out his Jedi support - a tragic loss - but even High Command had not anticipated Dark Jedi on this planet. He might be able to lessen their angst toward his failure by throwing that mistake in their face. The naive young soldier sighed as he glanced over the readouts once again. These Imperials could fight, no doubt about that, but now it was time to really test their merit. He would give orders in the morning for all of the battalions to hyper in to the enemy system and begin a second attack. All three fighter squadrons would accompany them, just to ensure the victory. With luck, the bombers would be able to take out the enemy capital ship before it could even get off the ground. Devonshire smiled. It was fortunate that the Imperials had not spotted his ship in the system or else this follow-up attack would be endangered. However, they showed no signs of having seen the cruiser earlier. The Rebel starship had made it out of the system to wait for further orders. Well, they would have their new directive soon enough. The colonel reached under his desk for a bottle of whiskey. If everything went as planned, there was no doubt in his mind that he would be promoted to General for this victory. Shadow strolled through the base's hallways with his dog Interceptor in tow, fully refreshed after a light nap. It was the dead of night now and almost everyone else was fast asleep. This was the best time to exercise his four-legged friend; there was a much better chance of Interceptor not ripping anyone's legs off if no one was out and about. As he began his second circuit around the base, he noticed a slight movement up ahead in the corridor. There was someone - or something - crawling across the floor in front of Cloud and Strider's room. No, not crawling. Whatever it was was floating a few inches over the ground. Droid, Shadow thought. Interceptor had spotted the robot, too, and began to growl. Only a soft murmur from the swordsman kept the dog from charging the droid. Shadow reached beneath his nightclothes and pulled out his DL-44. With any luck and some good aiming, he could blast the droid before it became aware of his presence. Raising the gun up to a firing position, he squinted and placed his finger on the trigger... Suddenly, there was a flash of red light behind the droid and Shadow heard a loud squeal from the mechanical being. The light flared out of existence and Rizzit stepped foward out of the shadows into the dimly lit portion of the hallway. "Another Rebel probe droid," he muttered. Well, that confirmed Shadow's suspicion. The only real surprise was that Rizzit saw him standing there. No, he doesn't see me, Shadow corrected himself. He can bloody sense me. Interceptor, clearly unperturbed by Rizzit's attack, had begun to growl at the squad leader now. The large dog's eyes glistened with an eerie yellow light. "It's okay, boy," Shadow called, placing a hand on the dog's head. Interceptor heeled, but the dog kept a sharp eye on Rizzit as its master moved toward the other man. "I was about to blast it," Shadow told his squad leader. Rizzit nodded. "I sensed something and decided to come out of my room, and then I saw it floating around." "You sensed the droid?" "No, no, not the droid. Something more ... distant. Danger." When Shadow failed to say anything more, Rizzit shook his head and began to turn back toward TJ's room. "I'm going to go ask TJ if he can feel anything." "Sounds like a good idea to me," Shadow answered. "I'm going to take Interceptor back to his room and then I'll go check the surveillance. That droid shouldn't have been able to sneak in here." Rizzit nodded. "You're definitely right about that. Our defenses should have spotted it coming three clicks away." "You don't think -" Shadow hesitated "- that there's a traitor in the base, do you?" Rizzit's jaw dropped and it took a moment for the other soldier to realize he was gaping and to close his mouth. "What gives you that idea?" "Well, that first attack came so suddenly, and now this. I don't like how easily the Rebels are sneaking up on us. That droid could have caused some real damage if it had been an assassin droid or a seeker." Rizzit considered the other man's words and then ran his right hand through his hair,  pushing it back out of his eyes. "I'll look into it, but I really don't think that's possible." "All right. I'll go check out our security. Maybe there's a problem with one of the sensors." "Report in if you find anything," Rizzit added, tapping a finger against the comlink at his side. "Yessir." Shadow whirled around and jogged off toward the part of the base where he kept his dog. Rizzit took one more look at the mangled droid on the ground and then sped off toward TJ's quarters, one hand on his lightstaff in case there were more intruders hiding out in the base.

OOC:Let's try to leave the Navy and other squads out of this. Little did Dee or any of the other RAIDERS know, that no one else needed to get in to cause a problem. An "alien" droid was already in the base, and was working on the central computer to turn the base against the RAIDERS. Meanwhile, the RAIDERS continued monitoring the perimiter around the base looking for intruders. They had all come together in the security room, looking for any threats. "Hey! There are Rebels coming in! They are just walking through as if nothing is there." exclaimed Dee. "Looks like your attempt to set the laser turrets backfired. They're useless like this." said Otto."I better go to the control room and fix it." Rizzit reached out with the force. He felt the presence of something...not living, inside the base. "`TJ do you sense that?" he asked. "Yea, it's not normal. What is it?" "Something I haven't sensed before. It's not a droid, it's almost a humanoid. It can use the force." "Then we better be prepared." "Oh, Otto, Dee, I'll be taking those sabers back."Rizzit said as he used the force to draw the sabers to him. Rizzit put them aside in his robe."These I will save in case of emergency; or as bait to catch some Rebel scum!" Rizzit pondered for a bit, then came to a conclusion on how things were to be done. "I think it's best that we split up." he said at last."Teej and I will go check on that...THING. Otto, you take `Strider and Jed. I want you to head for the main control room. I have no doubt that we have some kind of threat there. When you are done, reset the turrets to take out any incoming Rebels. Shadow, you and Dee will take your walkers and take any incoming Rebels out there. Cloud, I would prefer it if you would accompany them. Bring your communications equiptment in your walker, and try to jam the transmissions of any ship coming into the system; as well as any current ships other than ours. I am also having you take along a com-link. We need to keep in touch, and if one person gets theirs blasted, we still have two more. Any questions?" Rizzit looked around and the squad remained silent. "Okay then let's get to it!" `TJ and Rizzit reached out with the force and let it guide them to the disturbance. Otto led his small group of troopers to the main control room, while Shadow took his group to the hangar to get their walkers. Little did each of the groups know, they were all walking into a trap...

Otto, Jed, and Strider kept firing back at the endless stream of Rebels.  Suddenly, Strider saw one of the Rebels unfolding a large grenade launcher.  Raising his blaster sight to his eye, he saw the large container of explosatives.  Taking careful aim, he fired just as a Rebel lifted out a grenade.  A huge fireball exploded outward knocking the trio to the ground.  Pieces os shrapnel rained down on them.  Rolling under a protruding cover, they tried to protect themselves as much as they could. "AWWWWW!!!" Otto screamed writhing in pain, even though nothing had hit him. Looking bewildered, Strider and the3Djedi both glanced at each other. "Whats wrong??" Strider asked, bending over his limp form. "This is not good" the3Djedi muttered, checking his pulse. The three figures were about 6 feet tall apiece.  They advanced rapidly, as TJ and Rizzit, backed away uncertainly.  Suddenly, a muffeled explosion rocked the area.  The force equivalent blast crushed them both a second later.  Rizzit and TJ both were slammed to the ground as the concussion blew by them.  A few seconds later, or what seemed like hours to them, they sat up groggily. "What was that?" TJ asked no one in particular. "Look!" Rizzit exclaimed, pointing toward the place where the three creatures had been.  All that was left of them was three smoldering lumps. "What happened??"  TJ queried again. "Dunno..." Rizzit said thoughtfully. "Wait! I know!" "What?" "A different one of these creatures must have gotten killed!  That blast!" TJ nodded, beginning to  understand. "Then, the dying creature let loose a furious force scream!  That's what we felt." "But the force blast killed the creatures own kind!" "Right..." Rizzit said. "But probably only the ones in a radious of about two miles." "This is not good." TJ said. "I don't think we'll be able to withstand an attack from those...things." "You right." "Well, lets go see if any of the others need help.!" "GET DOWN!" Shadow yelled, and the three RAIDERS fell as a portable missle nearly blew them to bits. "Were gonna need support soon!" Cloud yelled, blindly firing into the swarm of Rebels. Suddenly, they heard to snap-hisses.  Rizzit and TJ each let out a battle roar, and charged into the fray.  In a m,atter of minutes, the rebels had been diminshed. "Thanks, Rizz!" Cloud said, bending over with exhaustion. "Yeah." D-13 agreed. "We couldn't have done it without you." Clouds's comlink started to beep. "This is Cloud, come in" "Cloud? This is Strider.  We have an emergency here.  Otto is hurt!" "What?" "Yeah, during an explosion, he started screaming, then went limp." "Strider, this is Rizz." Rizzit said, grabbing the comlink from Cloud. "I think I know what happened to him.  I'll be right there." "Hurry, it he looks pretty bad!"

I assigned you those groups, cause I want to have like 3 seperate storylines. If you want to have our paths cross, please contact the parties responsible. Otto or myself must also approve it. OOC: I am sick of not being able to read anything else and I'm tired of the squad's inactivity. Oh, I'm starting to sound like a grumpy squad leader "No, go ahead. I'll stay here" With that, Dee rode the walker to the infirmary, leaving Shadow on the field alone, against an army of rebel soldiers and vehicles.                             -Infirmary- Cloud groans as he lowered himself into the bacta tank. A muffled explosion sounded through the halls and several chunks of the ceiling fell down on the ground. Dee armed his weapon. "I'll go check it out." "Yes sir.", replied the medical droid "By the way sir, I do not think Sergeant Cloud would be able to get back on the battle field soon.", it added. Dee nodded and rushed back into Cloud's walker and blasted his way back out. There, Shadow had already finished off nearly a quarter of the rebel forces. "Whoa.", said D-13 as he fired his weapons. "Hey Dee, welcome back, wanna join me?" , said Shadow. Dee simply grinned.
