A few days ago I mentioned a wiki project, but gave no specifics. Now it's finished and I hope you'll like the results. I noticed a few weeks ago that, while we've got nice, shiny infoboxes for our characters, the one we've been using for our ships looks like...well, crap. Relatively speaking, at least.

I decided to let the old template stand in case anyone prefers it, which's why this is labeled 2. Note that I designed it to work for squadrons as well, so any squadron that wishes to may also use it. It's based off the same concept as the character infoboxes, which means colors can be customized. That leads into another announcement: Taskforce Commanders- you are to decide upon unit colors for your taskforces. All ships within your taskforce will sport your chosen color scheme on their infobox- squadrons, however, will retain their tradition of choosing their own color scheme. SCAPs...sorry, but no perk for you just yet. Earn your way to commanding a Taskforce and then you can choose. (Quick way to get there? Inflate the number of SCAPs: encourage fighter pilots in their writing and recruit, recruit, recruit!)

So, all told, in the next week I'd like to see decisions on the color schemes for the following units of 2nd Fleet:

Nightshrike Squadron
Vengeance Squadron
Taskforce Aurek (2nd Fleet)
Taskforce Besh
Taskforce Resh (Since C-4 is missing, I leave it to Resh's members to vote on a color scheme.)

Drac, can I see examples of Romanflame's colors, one with red as background and blue as text, and one with blue bg and red text.

@Slash: If you like, get on the Dead Gun's page and play with the background colors to see if you like the color scheme. Like the new character boxes, all you have to do is change two or three spots at the top of the copy/pasted in section.
