‘Into the Invisible’ is chugging along nicely.  We’re still averaging a minimum of one post per day, which is pretty spectacular for any story.

If you didn’t get your report in expect a visit from either Stormz or Drac…next time It may be me…GRRRRR

The Naval Certification Program is humming along nicely, as well.  Plenty of folks are spitting those Ancillary Skills out like so many sunflower seed shells at a baseball game. Glad to see everyone enjoying the new system and taking advantage of it.

And finally…

We’d like to recognize and reward two of the hardest working folks in the Navy today with a few baubles.

For his outstanding activity and aid in the Naval Certification's, Senior Crewman Trykon is to be promoted to Petty Officer 2nd Class.

Also, for her efforts to create the new flight simulator, Petty Officer 1st Class Maroy is to be promoted to Chief Petty Officer.

Congrats to both, and don’t forget to buy them a round.

I wish I had watched the Academy Awards, so I could make an apt, topical acceptance speech reference.  As it is, I'll just say, "thanks." 

Glad to hear the various wiki tables are going to be fixed eventually, Drac.  Let me know if I can help in any way (if, for example, there's a lot of simple-but-boring formatting work needed, or something like that).  Once that's settled, I've been doing a lot of graphic design work lately, and I've come up with a series of badges the same size as the medal ribbons to mark the completion of the various tiers of the certifications in the existing "Awards and Certifications" wiki table, which we can upload to the wiki if there's an interest.  At first it was just a way to practice some rusty photoshop skills, but they look pretty good, so we may want to use them.

Also, I'm still working on the Writing Clinic and Manual for Imperial Engineers projects - if you have anything you think should be included in either one, Private Message me a link or any suggestions.  If you have a favorite writing exercise, or have come across a particularly rich technical resource in researching the Star Wars Extended Universe, please share with me, and I'll make sure everyone here in the VE benefits.

  Due to a woeful lack of activity, discipline and responsibility the following actions have been implemented.

1)    The IMMEDIATE move of the following members to the Reserves List:

Dunny  - his Exodus character in VENI will also go to reserves unless Grey states otherwise

Bacredi*
Rocketman*
Amacuse

2)    All members with a ‘*’ by their name will be reduced in rank one notch for failing to report for 4 consecutive weeks...in many cases it’s far more. (where applicable)

3)    Norsedragoon will be removed from command of Regents Squadron and the Squadron will be shuttered.  Ellesmere will have the option to transfer to Regents or take a Fleet command.

4)    Bacredi, Rocketman, Amacuse, and Romanflame will lose command of their respective ships and said ships will be removed from service pending NHC reactivation.

5)    All members tabbed for reserves will lose their positions and commands, whatever they may be.

6)    The Fleet will be rightsized in the near future. Watch for changes.


•    A recommendation that the lone remaining Squadron, Nightshrike, be placed on an NPC Imperial Star Destroyer.  The ship can be deployed wherever the squadron may be needed, but it also removes the necessity for the Fleet players to be forced into whatever story the Squadron may be in.  [Approved]

•    A recommendation to disband 2nd Fleet is pending revue.

•    A recommendation that all new members stay in Raptor for a minimum of two (2) story posts or one (1) full week, whichever is longer. [Approved]
