I will be getting up a second post on the story, probably tomorrow sometime.
Plan for the post goes something like this.
1. Give a briefing speech to the bridge crewman, detailing what is expected of them when drills are on etc etc.
2. Do a personal inspection of the bridge crew, comb through every crewman's file and make sure every crewmen knows his or her place.
3. Do a training drill for an attack on the Iron Duke, the bridge crew will practise basic responses to an attack and battle stations will be in operation.
Yell at me if I missed something but please don't torture me!!

ok folks, let's get some things straight...
the Cap-ship navy is designed for a couple of things:
1) to open up new possibilities for the members to explore different situations on board Capital ships and the different nature of battle/life aboard them.
2) to allow for casual writers or RL-busy folks to not be as 'tied' to the movement of a story. CapShips are HUGE, explore them, explore what they can do. explore yourself; what is your role aboard the ship and what sort of actions can you take, and finally, explore your writing abilities. I've seen several people already post bits not involving themselves at all. if you're a BO there are, at least, 3-10 other people around you. play w/it. do NOT rely on one person to move the story. those of us in command rely on YOU to create this world as much as YOU rely on us.
