As head of said required service I hereby rename the very notion of "toilet". Henceforth all such devices and locations shall be referred to as simply "Hades". It may not be as short as "John" but hey...

Now if - and I'm going out on a limb here - you should find yourself not pleased with this decision either... A large - very large even - quantity of fresh booze may change my mind on this matter. Otherwise you'll become a rather awkward memory as far as Ryuno and every single other crewman aboard the whole ship will be concerned. Surely you do not want that? Do you?

Hey, Caldaris, nice to see you made it through Flight School. On the roster, you are placed as Tukata Gamma-2, however... in the context of the current story, I do believe Gamma-2 is dead, so for now you'll probably be Gamma-4, and therefore my for-this-story-only wingman. Don't quote me on that though, you'll wanna check with the people actually in charge around here.

And to my fellow Tuks, I promise I'll attempt to get a bloody post up sometime soon if I ever figure out what to write.

Hiya Caldaris, as DR already started explaining - you should join the current story under the premise that you are in fact Gamma 4, DR's wingman. Whether you choose to have his back, use him as cannon fodder or just as a convenient decoy - well that's entirely up to you

Oh and just in case I should probably mention that you should start this story by having launched from the Atrus along with everyone else, as opposed to launching solo, just jumping out from hyperspace or any other possible scenario out there. Whether you choose to describe that part as well (maybe as part of a brief flashback for instance) or decide to jump straight in the fray however - that again is entirely your choice.

All that being said and done, the entire squadron should try and get a few more posts up as soon as possible. I'll see about advancing your goals in my next post (to be submitted in a few more hours) in case this will help provide you all with further inspiration and the like.

The squadron's empty slots were filled by NPC pilots at the story's start, and those non-player-controlled pilots have not been referenced in-story, from what I've read.  New people can simply join as if they've been in the battle the entire time, effectively replacing those NPCs with their PCs.  A simple retcon.

One clarification - as far as the current story goes A2 is dead, B1 is dead, C2 is also dead. DR has also already stated IC that he's flying as C3. Furthermore, the latter already suggested that Caldaris join as C4 on account of him being the oldest newb around. Oldest newb - funny ring to it

To both simplify and clarify matters here's a list of assignments as far as the current story goes:

A1 - NPC SC
A2 - dead NPC
A3 - Ryn
A4 - Ryuno

B1 - dead NPC
B2 - Scral
B3 - Hades
B4 - Maroy

C1 - NPC SL
C2 - dead NPC
C3 - DarianRogue
C4 - Caldaris

D1 - NPC SL
D2 - Eli13778
D3 - Dawn
D4 - JexBarris

In addition - this should thankfully be the final addendum - for the remaining duration of the current story flight designations should be kept as Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta on account of them already being used in previous posts.

Note that the above should affect only the current story and only because that was started using a different set of circumstances. Once this story ends the roster will suffer a tad more shuffling about as a SC, XO and now possibly also a FL will be chosen. It is my hope that when that happens the final roster positions will be left for the newly appointed SC to decide. Both myself, and I believe the NHC as well, will be happy to provide recommendations in this regard - but the final say should in my opinion belong to the SC.

Also Eli... you may indeed all gonna die slow, painful, agonizing deaths but hey, think on the bright side... Ehm, brownie points to whoever can point out this bright side

So we'll either start hating each other and kill each other in friendly fire out of annoyance, or we won't live long enough to hate each other and we'll die anyways. Inspires confidence, right?

I'm going for option 3. Dawn, you and I dispel our anger (and find some common ground) by killing JexBaris (accident or otherwise) and watch him die in the vacuum of space.

Also, does any one realize that our new guy group has no assigned leader? How does that work? I mean sure it's an NPC but can some one please tell me the guy's name?

Wait was that a subliminal go ahead on killing him, or am I crazy? Yeah probably crazy.

Ok I'm gonna straight up ask this. I'll be gone for the next few weeks but can Dawn (or me when I come back) whack our FL? I mean cmon it's not like he's gonna be a huge part of the storyline now that we are dropping in mid- battle.
