It is my great pleasure to reopen Tuk'ata under its new Squadron Commander, Petty Officer Dunny. Current members of the squadron are:

Allright, time to get started:

For our new members, welcome to Tuk'ata Squadron! Recently re-activated, this squadron has always had a high standard of teamwork and activity, and I hope that together we can raise the bar even further!

Your leaders:

I'm Petty Officer 1st Class Sam Jack Dunn, but you can call me 'Dunny' for short. In my short time with the Vast Empire, I have served in both the Starfighter and Stormtrooper Corps - backed with some real-life leadership experience, I hope to bring use my varied experience to best effect to make this squadron the best that it can be!

I've yet to select an Executive Officer yet, but once we have the numbers to open Besh Flight, I will select someone to take command of it, and serve as my Second in Command. Keep up the activity and work hard, and that person may well be you! And yes, how much liquor you manage to steal back from Nightshrike WILL be taken into account.

Ground Rules
Whilst I'm not a tyrant and am happy to let you guys have fun, I do expect a basic standard of professionalism and respect to be had - after all, we are still Imperials here. So, I've decided on the following basic rules that I want every Squadron Member (including myself) to follow:
Respect: Treat other members with respect. You don't have to like everyone, but I expect you to keep a civil tongue and treat everyone with dignity and respect. Joking around is fine, and friendly rivalry is encouraged, but the moment it gets serious, watch out.
Reports: are due on Saturdays by 12am GMT+10:00 WHICH FOR THOSE IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE, IS FRIDAY. The reporting template is here - pm that to both me and Drac. If you can't get it done on time for some reason, just send it sooner, and if you need to go inactive for an extended period, make sure to post on the 'Leave' section of the forums.
Activity: I want no less than two story posts a week - we're a small squad, so we have to make up for it with extra effort. Also, try to keep your wiki pages up-to-date. Try to keep in contact with each other and me via IRC. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to send a PM, try to catch me on IRC or send me (Sam Jean Carriere) a message on Facebook.

Other than this, the most important thing is to have fun!

Please note that our interim reporting system is still in effect. Dunny's instructions there are correct, but I wanted to point it out so that everyone will be alert for changes in that wiki page. That template is one that may be changed as we bring the new system together.

One other quick note, especially for new members: Try and denote time using the forum's timezone in order to minimize confusion. We're from all over the place, and not everyone is skilled at interpreting GMT +/-.

I'm working on a post for an intro story as we speak. Since Nightshrike is onto my liquor raiding plan, I'll think of something. It'll be around 30mins until it's posted. Until then, head on the IRC channel please so we can have a chat.

I appreciate the effort. I'll get to work on the story immediately so we aren't sitting around for too long. It won't be anything fancy, just a chance for the new Squadron to get to know each other and get some training in before their first mission.
