This is goodbye for now, not goodbye forever. This is a decision I had to step back from myself and think through. It isn't an easy decision; the big ones never are, are they?
My reality is not a pleasant one. Recent events here and at home have forced me to reevaluate everything. I've been shown a clear path to success and happiness; I have to take it and let nothing stop me, not even the VE. Escaping from my problems won't solve them. What makes this so hard is all the great times I had here with the friends I've made. Writing, making graphics for avatars and squad banners were outlets for my creativity. Support and input from my peers helped me to grow immeasurably. I'll always be grateful for that.
The time has come that the saga of Baraka 'Tank' Kodex takes a back seat to my saga. I'm not satisfied playing the games. I want to be the one making the games, writing comics and novels. To make my dreams reality comes with sacrifice.
That said, I will not be able to honor squad obligations for the foreseeable future. Therefore I must be taken off the Roster and placed into either Leave or Reserves. I'll be around but not in the capacity I had been. If/when time allows I may dabble on the StoryNet to further hone my craft.
Saphira and Abalar, you may not have been constant companions but you have become my best friends. You've seen me through some rough times. Thank you both, for everything.
