This will be my final post within the VE. I had logged off IRC last night and said my goodbyes to my friends that were online at the time, I honestly didn't think I would come back but I decided it only fair to those people that I never said goodbye to, to put up a farewell post.
As some of you may know, I retired from the Army but was still actively kicking about the VE and IRC. Due to personal reasons I have decided that it is best that I now leave the VE behind and move on.
I would like to say that this club has been a great experience and I feel priviledged to have been a part of it and I wish its every success. I know that with so many fantastic people as members it can only grow stronger.
I'm going to mention just a few people that have been brilliant. I would like to name more but there are just so many.
To Rizzit
You have been a great friend and I know that the Army is in great hands with you as its Prefect. I wish you all the best in the years ahead and I know you will give it great leadership.
To Lucky
You know what you mean to me. Everyone in the VE loves and respects you and it wouldn't surprise me that in several years down the road that you will be the Prefect of the Army (watch your back Rizz!)
To Zeshaun
We have had some wonderful times with non-stop posting in the VE. You were a great asset to Paladin and are a great asset to the Army. I wouldn't be surprised to see you leading a squad in the future.
To Angel
I have to say that when you started doing competitions I was not overly excited, but they turned out to be fantastic ones. You have been a great mentor and knew how to achieve the best out of my writing, I thank you for that.
To Helena and to Abalar
You have been great friends to me, you have helped me through some difficult times and I wish you all the very best.
I wish everyone all my very best. I know that I would be welcomed back should I choose to return but I feel my return highly unlikely. If anyone ever wants to get in touch with me then just ask Rizz and he'll give you my email address.
It's been a blast.
