Well it is with a heavy heart that I put up this retirement notice.  I have been with the Army now for 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed my time.  I have made some very good friends and have been as active a member as possible, working my way up not only through the ranks but also going from Trooper to ASL to SL.

Sadly Storm Platoon was shut down and as a result several people lost their positions, one of them was me.  The decision was made for the good of the Army and I for one want to wish them the very best and really do hope they prosper.

To suddenly go from SL position back to just a trooper level though is just something that doesn’t sit right with me.  I’m just not happy with the loss of command and being here is supposed to be fun and right now I’m just not having any fun.

You’ll probably see me floating around IRC from time to time or who knows, maybe I’ll do the occasional StoryNet story.

I wish the Army the very best for the future.

Bye Alan, I remember when you were the SL of Iron Horse, you helped me alot for the short time I served under you.
