This is a rough draft which I came up for how we can run a bounty hunting where you guys will actually earn some ICS, and where your valor as a writer might receive some recognition.

How it will work.
Each week, or each month.
I will post a list of targets that needs to be eliminated.
Say 7 targets.
Each target will of course have a different bounty price,

Story 1 might earn you 150 000k while Story 2 might earn you only 75 000.

Here is the catch, you have to pay an entrance fee to participate. I am still working the kinks out of the idea, but I'm running first here with you. It might be a set price, or it might be a percentage of the bounty.

So what happens now that you have payed and picked your story?
You write it, and then you send it to me first.
I will be judging the stories, the best written story of each bounty will be posted then and the writers will receive their respective bounty while the best written story of ALL the targets will receive a bonus which will be paid from the inscription fees you entered.

Now, I will be talking with Cosmic, but what I'm hoping that could happen as well is that the top two stories will be featured in the VE Today. I can't garuntee that since it is an idea that will be needed to run with Cosmic.

Take a look at this draft.
It contains 2 categories:

Category 1.

Say 7 bounties will be posted each week.
Whoever is the first to post their story of the specific bounty will be the one to claim the money of that story.
There must be some form of competition amongst you. The best story of all the bounties placed will win bonus.

I will discuss the word minimum with my financier
But I'm not even going to make it very high, the word min.
Now remember, I can place huge lists of targets, but with very little bounty.
A list might contain up to 20 bounties, each bounty varying in price.
So,  ULTIMATELY everyone would get to post bounty stories, but if you don't check regularly, someone else might steal the bounty you've eyed.

Category2

There will be one bounty, with a price significantly higher then the rest of the bounties posted.
People who wants to claim that story, will need to email me the story, and I will choose the best one.


I will later explain what exactly I'm looking for in the 'best' story of category 1, and the winner story from category 2, but I can definitely say that I'm looking for quality.

The bounties can go very high, easily up to half a mil IC, or even 1000k IC.


As Jeg said, we can definitely find other ways to feature these stories.
Ultimately, since EVERYONE has been a bounty hunter, I thought this would be a nice way to explore that part of our characters.
And for those who is looking to apply for the DJO, think of this a practice course.

I would definitely be up for that, especially considering what the bounty is coming in at, nice.

Although not EVERYONE has been a bounty hunter, I haven't but will be interesting to give it a go.

So what you're saying is there will be a large number of smaller bounties, in which the first person to turn in a story 'wins'. The best story on these will win a bonus. Then there will be a big bounty which is judged on quality?

I'm going to write from the past, since i was a mercenary group mainly loyal to the empire before i joined the stormtrooper corps, i'm going to pretend i'm still a mercenary and write stories that say the empire hired my small group of mercenaries to hunt down these specific threats to the empire, just a thought to others who may have similar back grounds

As my character will be handing out the bounties and crap.
You can write NPC characters, but no *in the future* or *in the past stories* please Sorry, but depending on how everything work out, I want us to stick with the present time line when we write these stories.

Final draft,

Category 1.
20-40 bounties will placed on Storynet in a thread. This thread will be updated with new bounties regularly.
Now, jager, we don’t have the queen of hearts in the SW universe, but I like the idea, so I’m going to create a deck system sometime in the future? Right now though I’m going to keep it simple and basic, see how the turnout looks.
So, what happens is.
You will have different levels of bounty hunting. 5 Levels with 5 being the lowest level and 1 the highest. The higher the level, the more money you can get but also the more challenging I will make it.

Different levels will have different specifications.
Level 1:
Money can go up to a mil.
Word minimum: 3000
Payment: Percentage
Level5:
You might just make 10 000 IC
Word minimum: 500
Payment: Percentage


Here is the catch to ensure that quality is at all time guaranteed. Spelling and grammar mistakes will result in fines.
Example:
Words spelled wrong: You will lose 1% of your bounty per word.

If a member posts a bounty short of the word requirement specified, he will lose 1% percent of his bounty for every missing word.

Then, of the all the bounty stories posted in week, or say every two weeks, I will choose one story which was the best of that collection. It will be featured, and the writer will receive a bonus.
The bonus prize will not come from the percentage fee you pay however.
I’m going to try and turn this whole thing around to generate money, right now we are being financiered by very good people? And I would really like to work towards functioning independent.



Category2

This will only be one or two bounties. HUGE amount.
Payment percentage could go up 20%.
Only one person can claim the bounty. Email me your stories, and the best one will be chosen. It’s a risk, but this will be something for the guys who want a real challenge. Now the good news is, it will be held monthly, so there is no time limit, only whoever’s story is the best.

Now best stories will be judged on
Quality
Creativity
Originality
Language and Grammar
Word limit will be mentioned with the bounty.
A good story doesn’t need to be a 1000 words or more, sometimes the real challenge would be a 500 word short story? Hehe, okay, so that’s a bit low. Was just an example.
