“The Commander” muttered Nick as he raised his weapon.

“Save it Nick” stated Lucky, “you’d never hit him with that from this range”.

“I commend you for getting this far Paladin’s.  I must admit that your profiles do not do you justice.  I will offer you this one only.  Join me and together we can reap the rewards and overthrow the Imperial’s.  Surely you know the rebellion is just” called out the Commander.

Drakar spat on the ground at the very prospect and Alan shouted back “never!”

Lucky then said “The rebellion is just a petty band of thugs and you will be brought to justice for what you have done here”.

“Pity” replied the Commander, “so be it then, here is where the Paladin’s will be put to rest”.

As soon as he finished talking two large doors opened giving way to a large amount of battle droids.

“Paladin’s, give them hell!” shouted Lucky.

Drakar smiled at Lucky’s announcement thinking This will be fun…

He charged an area filled with several droids who all switched on their firing mechanisms. 

As he was running toward the crowd he whipped out his E-11 and began to fire until he could close the ground between them.  He managed to clip the leg of one droid causing it to fall on another, making it accidently shoot the one that fell disabling it instantly.

Drakar whistled at the power of the bolts being fired from the droids, knowing that if one got him it would cause serious damage.

He quickly whipped out his vibroblade slicing through several while spinning around and taking short breaks to fire at the others.

Nick and Drakar positioned themselves to defend Zeshaun, as he prepared to destroy the ship. They started firing at the droid attackers, buying time.  Zeshaun unstrapped the large launcher off and proceeded to load it. Nick was actually enjoying himself. The due fired  constantly, sending the ground into a junkyard, filled with droid parts. It reminded him of his old days as a merchant, selling parts and other things to customers.

‘’Just a little longer..’’ Zeshaun said.

The squad hoped Zeshaun would be ready soon. The ship wouldn’t stay in sight forever.
Nick checked his ammo, he was almost entirely empty. ‘’Im almost out, guys.’’ Nick said as he fired away his last bits of ammo at the attacking droids.

‘’Grab one of theirs.’’ Drakar pointed to the remains of some of the destroyed droids.

Smart idea.. Nick thought. He tossed his rifle to the floor and dived towards one of the blasters on the floor. He rolled as he received it, trying to avoid getting shot. He saw Zeshaun, aiming. Little did Zeshaun know, he was about to be blown to bits by two battle droids, aiming at him to the side, out of his view. Nick quickly jumped up and fired at the droids, saving Zeshaun.  He then turned, to see the Commander boarding the ship.

‘’Bang.’’ Zeshaun said, as fired a large blast towards the ship. It slammed into the transportation ship. It light up in flames and exploded, just as the commander had entered it. The squad looked on at the flames.

The droids took this opportunity to catch the squad off guard. Luckily they caused no major injuries. The Paladins resumed and continued to decimate them one by one.

After a while, the droids were defeated. Metal parts littered the area.
‘’So, I guess its over?’’ Nick wondered.

Lucky nodded. ‘’So it would seem, check the ship for any survivors.’’
The Paladins all nodded and obeyed her orders. They went towards the destroyed transport. They found no survivors, and were proud of it.

Their next problem; Find transportation.

‘’Maybe we should contact assistance?’’ Nick Suggested.

Lucky nodded. The  Paladins started searching for any kind of communication with a wide range. Nick was excited to have completed his first mission with the paladin squad. He couldn’t believe how well he had done, and hoped he would do better in the future.

‘’Found something.’’ Zeshaun shouted to the rest of his squad mates. They all gathered around him as he was standing infront of a large computer. Zeshaun pressed a series of buttons and codes in order to get it working and communicate the right people.

Nick waited patiently, thinking on his performance. Eventually, Zeshaun manage to contact an officer. Zeshaun stepped back and Lucky started speaking.

‘’This is Paladin Squad of Storm platoon. We request a pickup back to Headquarters.’’

‘’Where is your previous transportation?’’ The suspicious officer asked.

Luckystar sighed. ‘’We got into a bit of a problem, and now we are stranded here.’’

‘’Ah. I see. I shall arrange for a transport to pick you up at the desired coordinates.’’

‘’Thank you. That is all, Luckystar out.’’

The communication closed and the Squad listened as Luckystar gave out orders.

‘’Okay, help is on the way, lets just wait patiently till they arrive.’’

The paladins nodded. Nick went around the area, with nothing else to do. He was glad that he had managed to still be in one piece.


After a while, another message appeared on the Comm array. This time, the transport ship was looking for the coordinates on the planet. Lucky gave the proper coordinates.

Nearly an hour passed before a large imperial vessel touched down near the Paladins location. The ramp loaded up, and The paladins went up the ramp.

Zeshaun waited for what seems like forever for the transport. When he got on he sat himself down. He looked down at his armor and saw that he had taken a beating. His whole body was rather sore and he didn't feel like doing anything but sitting in a hot bath. He sat down and he took a nap and waited for the long trip back to come to an end.

After this whole encounter he wondered what the civilians would do with the newly discovered cache of weapons, although severely damaged they may find a use for them. Zeshaun decided not to worry about it and went to sleep.

Drakar was relieved when he saw the transport arrive and the whole squad load up to go back to Headquarters.  He found an open spot and plopped down in the seat.  He took his helmet off revealing his hair sopping wet with sweat.

The rest of the squad began their own methods of relaxation, while Drakar started unloading his weapons and checking each of them. 

After he finished checking all his equipment he looked around seeing that most of the squad had drifted off to sleep so Drakar decided to get some rest too.

While his eyes started to get heavy his mind drifted back to the mission that had just been completed, thinking about how close the squad had come to death so many times and how they had managed to escape. 

As the Transport  flew back to base, Drakar managed to slip off into one of the deepest sleeps he had gotten in a long time.
