the current story, Nazgul - Vacation, is only five or six posts long at the moment. You shouldn't have any trouble reading through it. It's mostly deploying and character development so far.

AH! Thanks, man. Yea, not to explain all my motivations, but I only broached the subject because my time is going to be pretty limited here. Also, I just want to ask? Is there anybody who is a lower rank then me? (Wait a minute, I am the lowest 'active' rank. Well, this sucks.)

I dunno, two of their constables showed up for the funeral of one of our Police Officers here in Tampa yesterday, he lived in their town for a period of time, so they sent these guys down after he was killed in the line of duty.
For those who don't know the story:
One of our Corporals was responding to a suspicious person call, he arrived at the scene and observed a suspect pushing a shopping cart with military surplus items. Officer went to investigate, the guy attacked him, hit him over the head with an assault rifle, then moved back and shot him, bullet went through the arm and through the area near the armpit, Officer was wearing a "Bullet-Proof" vest. He died an hour after being shot, suspect gave up peacefully. He had an Assault Rifle and 3 pistols in the shopping cart, as well as ammunition.
The sad thing is, the officer was a veteran, and had been hoping to make detective. He just had made detective, and last week was his last week of street patrol, he was supposed to transfer this week.
