I'm the first to say I'm a total rugby n00b. I know nothing of it (the first place I heard of it was from a teacher- he wanted to start a rugby club. I'm sure it went over great with parents.)

Jumping in to hassle up some interest for the upcoming quick write competition. Each squad's objectives are already set, along with a brief plot summary on the storyboard. It's important that you link the avatar for the squad in each of your posts or they won't be counted.

General idea is this: 48 hours of post-as-much-as-you-can writing over the weekend. It would be best if you could get on IRC and into your squad topic to co-ordinate posts.

Storm Status Check.

Effective immediately. All squad members (save those legitimately on leave) must report this week, or risk being AWOL'ed. Additionally, all squad members must post on their squad topics stating their current status. If you require leave, note why, and take leave. If you're active, you will be expected to participate fully from now on or risk subsequent fines or an eventual AWOL. If you are buried in RL, and will be away for an extended period of time, request a transfer to reserves so you can return at a later stage. You're either here or you're not from here on in people.

Those who fail to comply to both requests will be AWOL'ed at the end of the week, no excuses. I think a week is plenty of time to make two posts. This is all being carried out in conjunction with Wildcard Platoon in an army wide clean up.

I'm here too. Making up for the amount of time I was out over the summer.

Geez, AWOL checks are every couple months nowadays. It's really kind of depressing.

Sorry. Just feeling a little sad. You guys are doing a brilliant job with the QW's and such. I think the really frustrating thing is to see someone come straight out of basic (or not even make it out) find that they don't really like writing about anything, including Star Wars, and just decided to quit.

But unfortunately, I do not have a better idea.

And I don't suppose that there is a place we need to post like last time, because I was almost AWOL'ed last time for that.

I'm remaining on Semi-Leave in perpetuity.  If/when I have a consistent job with stable hours, I may upgrade or downgrade my status in the VE.
