Blue, we are currently in the middle of the battle hence they can not join as they are in a different part of the galaxy as us.

The exact details of HOW Sovern will be joining the mission will be decided by C-3PX2. I suggest you contact him, and until he makes a decision the new recruits are asked to refrain from posting.

P.S. Hunter is in Viper. Kane has joined you as Kaph 1-4. Sovern will be placed in Flight 3 (I'm unsure of the exact spot).

Allow me to clarify the issue:

When it comes to squadron callsigns, there are two ways to do it. The first way is perhaps the most well known way: Kaph 1-12. Pretty simple. That's what you're thinking of Blue.

The other way is a tad more complex, but it allows the people who have to read the reports to quickly identify exactly where a person is in a squadron. This is the X-X method, the Xs representing variables in this particular instance.

In Mellainius' case, he is Kaph 2-4. That means he is the fourth Kaph in the second flight. Which would be Kaph 8.

So, in the end, you're both right.

Oh, we all have our starting problems. I had quite a few myself.

Actually, the situation with the TIE/D is my fault.
It seems that both the TIE Defender and TIE Automated Star fighters use the Designation TIE/D.

So... All TIE/D referred to in the story is referenced to the TIE/D Automated Starfighter.

Again, my mistake, i should have seen that before.



Also, Please get a report in this week. I will be away all next week, but I would like to know how the squadron is doing before i go away.

Next week, Petty Officer Second Class StOrMz will be stepping up his Duties to fill in for me, he will be in charge, but I would still like to recive reports next week as well.
